1.Netiquette- Netiquette, which is a portmanteau of “net” and “etiquette,” refers to using courtesy
and politeness when communicating with others online

2.Safety and Security- While the words “security” and “safety” are nouns with similar meanings,
they are used differently. “Security” often has to do with a group's efforts to protect its members
from harm. “Safety” most often relates to a personal feeling of being free from harm or danger.

3.Privacy policies- A Privacy Policy is a statement or a legal document that states how a company
or website collects, handles and processes data of its customers and visitors.

4.Internet threats- Web-based threats, or online threats, are a category of cyber security risks that
may cause an undesirable event or action via the internet.

5.Cyber bullying- Cyber bullying includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or
mean content about someone else.

6.Malware- Malware is the collective name for a number of malicious software variants, including
viruses, ransom ware and spyware. 

7.Hacking- Hacking is the process of gaining unauthorized access into a computer system, or group
of computer systems.

8.Identity theft- Identity (ID) theft happens when someone steals your personal information to
commit fraud.

9.Spyware- Spyware is any software that installs itself on your computer and starts covertly
monitoring your online behavior without your knowledge or permission. 

10.Phishing- Phishing is a type of social engineering attack often used to steal user data, including
login credentials and credit card numbers.

1.Advantages- Netiquette can help students improve their soft skills, prevent miscommunications,
help students better understand what is socially acceptable when working and collaborating online
in different environments, and ensure that the teaching and learning process is not deterred

Disadvantages- Use the internet to conduct illegal activities such as selling or promoting bad
behavior.

2.Netiquette exists to help people to communicate more effectively whilst online, and to avoid
unnecessary misunderstandings and potential conflicts.
