 Tanza oasis Hotel and Resort

Tanza Oasis is a modern and classically elegant hotel and resort offering services such
as hotel service, restaurants, events place, and swimming pools. It is located in one of
Cavite’s coastal municipalities which is in Tanza, Cavite. Tanza Oasis is popularly
known to cater functions and events, usually seminars held by the government
departments and corporate companies. The hotel is considered to be a medium-sized
hotel as it has over 125 rooms and 9 function rooms. Apart from this, Tanza Oasis also
accepts walk-ins with its pool and beach area before the pandemic occurred

Tanza Oasis Hotel and Resort is Cavite’s only true resort destination, it offers perfect
mix of exceptional resort accommodations, service, comfort and a classic Filipino
hospitality. It is just one hour away from busy life of Metro Manila. Guest will discover a
hotel that is modern as well as classically elegant. Tanza Oasis Hotel & Resort is owned
by a corporation named, Marawi Leisure Park, Inc. The corporation is also the owner of
the Mount Sea Resorts. It is located on prime property in coastal Capipisa at Km. 41,
Barangay Capipisa Tanza, Cavite.

Although Cavite already has a few hotels and resort to its name (Island Cove, Mount
Sea Fiesta Hotel and Resort, Caylabne Bay, Puerto Azul, Microtel Eagle Ridge and
others), there is only one area in Cavite that is considered as the major competitor of
Tanza Oasis Hotel & Resort: Tagaytay City. Resort aims to become the top choice
among the business and leisure destinations in Cavite area. Resort strives to delight our
guests every time they visit; and to represent the hospitality and warmth of Tanza,
Cavite by providing quality service at all times. Tanza Oasis Hotel & Resort puts respect
honesty, passion, and service from the heart are foremost in its service equation.
Background/History

The resort was managed by dedicated hoteliers, and soon it expanded its services to
include swimming pools, a multi-purpose recreation hall, and other guest facilities. After
the success of Mount Sea Fiesta Resort, the investors decided to build a bigger
accommodation facility in Tanza, Cavite. The Mount Sea Grand Resort, located on
prime property in coastal Capipiza, opened its door on 2001. The resort did not succeed
because it is exclusive and expensive. Resort entrance and room rates are not
affordable for the locals.

In 2011, the Tanza Oasis Hotel & Resort opened its door to public. The concept is to
provide a premier accommodation facility featuring refreshing seafront views and first-
class hotel amenities. It aims to highlight the current globalization of business, and cater
to the business people and their families, and the general public. Tanza Oasis Hotel &
Resort is geared to meet the accommodation requirements of international clientele, as
well as the locals. But the investors and organizers’ commitment continue to aim for
perfection. The company desires to upgrade its system, control and operations. It will
become the umbrella of future accommodation properties in Luzon that will reflect the
quintessential Filipino hospitality and world-class service.

Moving on, Tanza Oasis began to operate in the year 2012 and it is currently owned by
Marawi Leisure Park Inc. It is currently a family-owned business headed by Mr.
Alexander Ngo which is one of the board members of the company. Although, a fun fact
about this company is that Tanza Oasis was formerly known as a different company
with the name Mount Sea Resort Fiesta. It was a membership resort open only to a few
but was reopened to the public as now Tanza Oasis by Mr. Alexander Ngo due to
bankruptcy that Mount Resort Fiesta had to face.
Product/Service offered

They can enjoy dipping in the pool, walking along the sea shore, sensing the touch of
massage, savoring the music and drinks at the pool bar, tasting the mouthwatering;
foods at Sagobe Cafe, relaxing stay at the hotel rooms and attending events in
luxurious function rooms. Hotel facilities Ballroom With the elegant fully carpeted
ballroom and chandeliers. Sahara Ballroom lends itself to buffets or sit-down dinners, as
well as conferences and seminars. The kitchen provides plenty of space for the caterer
of guest’s choice. Capacity for sit down dinners is 400, 500 for theatre style seating.

For convenience, it has a divider that can split the ballroom in half. This is truly Cavite’s

Existing Marketing Campaign/strategies

Tanza Oasis hotel campaign by promoting their rooms and how good the facilities of the
hotel. There posting on their website and putting banner on the street and giving flyers
the particular reason of this circumstance to gain more tourist to visit their hotel. This
actively demonstrate that have new product or services to enjoy their self to the hotel
and the price are not that high.

Marketing Challenges

Social network
-  Since the hotel and resort starts for almost a year, Tanza Oasis Hotel and
Resort is not that establish as others did. Several things we noticed in their
establishment and management need much more improvement. Social
Networking Social networks will be very helpful for the company as a publicity
and promotional media. There, they can publicize their rates and promotions.
Well defined key work for the name of the establishment will also be helpful for
the guest to easily remember it.

Transportation
- Transportation and Travel The hotel and resort must provide a well define map
for the guest to know the different routes that they can take when going to the
resort. Staffs Inexperienced staffs count on weaknesses of the hotel and resort.
Staffs that are inadequate in performing their duties and responsibilities might
decrease the quality of service of the hotel. The action to be taken for further
improvement is to hire knowledgeable, trained, and skilled employees for the
quality and good results and to give more training. Superstructure

Lack of Facilities
- Despite of the beauty and luxury of modern establishment that can be easily
seen, there are still things that must be improved. We noticed that the hotel lacks
 of an elevator which more needed particularly for disabled person as well as for
the convenience of the employees in assisting guest’s luggage. The construction
of elevator will be a big help for the business. Furthermore, this will benefit the
hotel and resort not just in sustaining their goals but also to exceed the
expectations of the guests.

Tagaytay City
- Tagaytay City is a component city in the province of Cavite, Philippines. It is
considered as one of the country’s most popular tourist destination due to its cool
climate. The city overlooks the Taal Lake in Batangas and gives one of the iconic
views of the Philippine History.

• Tagaytay Picnic Grove - this is a large park in Tagaytay. main feature of this park
are the huts and tables used for picnic. It also has a ground for horseback riding, an
eco-trail boardwalk, a zipline and cable cars. From the place, a view of the Taal

• Taal volcano- Even at its most devastating state, Taal Volcano remains as one of
the most remarkable and eye-catching attractions of nature. This Tagaytay tourist
spot can also be admired in many restaurants in the city proper.

• People’s Park in the Sky- formerly known as the Palace in the Sky, is an
incomplete mansion in Tagaytay City that was converted into an urban park. The
view up there is breathtaking offering you a good sight of the Tagaytay landscape.

• Sky Ranch- is wide variety of rides such as the Sky Eye, the second tallest Ferris
wheel in the Philippines, Super Viking, and Sky Cruiser, as well as smaller rides fit
for kids. This fun tourist spot in Tagaytay does not only offer fun rides but also a
 good Tagaytay view of the Taal Volcano. You’re hitting two birds with one stone at
this Tagaytay tourist spot even if you’re just on a day tour in Tagaytay.

• Dreamland Arts and Crafts Café –is a famous spot in Tagaytay is the. It is a great
place to visit if you’re looking for a quick bite after hours of exploring the city. The
place is surrounded with all things boho and indie that will definitely appeal to the
artist in you.

- The Bayleaf Cavite is the only 4-Star hotel accredited by the Department of
Tourism within the city of Gen. Trias and the second hotel property of The
Bayleaf brand, the first one being in Intramuros, Manila. The bayleaf hotel offers
148 spacious rooms fitted with contemporary furnishings. Amenities include a
private bath, cable TV, and free Wi-Fi. Designed for both business and leisure,

- Microtel Inn & Suites Eagle Ridge, is a 3-star located in Gen.Trias Cavite has this
57-room hotel provides an ideal setting combining comfort, privacy and a
convenient location. Have a pleasant stay in clean, comfortable rooms with the
much talked about Microtel chiropractic "healthy for the back" beds. Microtel Inn
& Suites Cavite also has a distinctive character especially with the multitude of
activities available in its neighboring country club. 15 minutes of breeze walk
from the hotel or about 5-minute drive by car is the exclusive Eagle Ridge Golf &
Country Club, which has the largest golfing facility in the country.

Profile of existing and prospective customers

- Based on the feedbacks, I noticed those who gave reviews of their stay at the
hotel are mixed class of travelers. So, it can be considered that Tanza Oasis
hotel and resort do not have specific prospective customers because they accept
all types of guests to check-in.
- Still based on guests’ reviews, most of them was traveled with family and/or
traveled with friends. Consequently, it can be said that their existing customers
are group travelers, the possible reason of this is they are one of the beach
resorts that are closest to the city and a best getaway to be reached immediately
by guests who wants to relax, unwind, and bond with family or friends.
