Introduction
Please note the following information in your email of abstract acceptance:

• Accepted for 30th ASMIHA EHJ Submission


• Please ensure proper scientific writing and guidelines are strictly followed, such as maximum
word limit of 250 words and compulsory keywords of 3-6 words. You may revise your
abstract file before 5th Sept 2021 23.59 (GMT+7) at the latest. Failure to comply with our
guideline will result in removal of your abstract from the European Heart Journal submission.

Introduction

• Accepted for Presentation Sessions (Meet the Expert / Meet the Expert GP /
Moderated Poster / Young Investigator Award)
• Please submit a presentation file as per the instruction before 30th Sept 2021,
23.59 (GMT+7)
• All presentation sessions will be conducted live, ensure you followed the duration of
your specified session and have a good internet connection during the event

Presentation Guidelines
• Please prepare a presentation file with the following guideline:
• Presentation slides in English
• Presentation conducted in Indonesian
(Except for Young Investigator Award presentation conducted in English)
• Use standard font types and minimum font size of 18
• For your presentation, use ASMIHA template slide attached in the email
*A more comprehensive details about your presentation including presentation
duration is provided in the email

1. Abstract title in sentence case, bold the entire title and avoid abbreviation.
Example: This is a properly formatted title: a case report

2. List of author(s), institution(s), city, and country should be written immediately below the
title. Institute(s), city, and country should be written in Italic and Authors name should
be listed by initials followed by family name only. First author name should be
underlined.
Example: E. J. Topol1, P. Libby2, 1Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta,
Indonesia; 2National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta, Indonesia

3. Oxford English Spelling

4. Times New Roman font, font size 12, use Symbol for the Greek and special characters. SI units of
measurement should only be used, double-spaced, margin 2.5cm on all sides

5. The abstract including keyword should not exceed 250 words, excluding titles and authors. Due to
strict word limitation, you are advised to allocate those words into 25% for background, 50% for
case description, and 25% for discussion and keywords. 3-6 keywords should be provided at the
end of your abstract.

6. Title: It should be self-explanatory, so the reader can get a grasp of the abstract content. However, for
submission purposes, your abstract title should not be changed in this revision.

7. Background: Be concise and straightforward. Avoid adding unnecessary introduction which does not
contribute to the purpose of your abstract.

8. Case description: This should be the major point of the abstract. Describe the case accordingly which
describe the main purpose of your study. Avoid inserting unnecessary data which does not directly
contribute to the main objective. For example, stressing to much diagnostic procedure in an abstract
that focus on therapeutic challenge.

9. Discussion: Should corresponds with the main objective of your abstract as stated on the title. Discuss the
topic correlating with the case and title described earlier. Avoid making a literature review which
does not directly correlate with the case, e.g citing the guideline without any direct connection or
correlation to the case. Avoid the urge to discuss focus topic which is not related to the title.

10. Maximum number of authors is up to 4 and 8 authors for case report and series,
respectively.

11. Supported file formats are word document (.doc or .docx)

12. Informed consents are not to be submitted, instead held by the treating institutions
following local guideline. *Should be made available to journal editors if
specifically requested.

does not contribute to the purpose of your abstract.

8. Method and Results: Should be the major point of the abstract. Clearly describe the methods that
were employed for the study in a straightforward manner. It is recommended to restrict the
results that only correlates with the study’s main outcome.

9. Conclusion: Should be stating the main findings of the study, brief discussion of the result justification,
and finally, the impact of the study.

10. Use zeros before decimal points, use dot (.) for making decimal points, use lower case
”p” values. Example: p<0.05

11. Provide manufacturer name and location in parenthesis for all brand or trade names. For
brand drugs, include generic name in parenthesis. Do not include references, credit,
or grant support.

2. Choose ‘Check your abstract’ option in the submission page
3. Upload your revised file before the specified deadline
