1.What is Certain Conscience? Give an example (10 pts.)

A Certain Conscience is a subjective certainly of legality of particular actions to be


done of to be omitted. It is also a state of mind when it has no prudent fear of
being wrong about its judgment on some moral issue and firmly decides that
some action is right or wrong. Example of Certain Conscience is when the night
before the examination. Marie prepared a kodigo. She wants or desired to get a
high grade in the exam to impress her classmates in their room. But on the day of
the exam, she felt a growing uneasiness deep within herself and gave her plan.

2.What is Doubtful Conscience? Give an example (10 pts.)

A Doubtful Conscience is a is a state of mind when it cannot certainly decide for or


against a course of action and leaves the person unsure about the morality of
what one is to do, or what one may have done. Example of the Doubtful
Conscience is, if a person would decide to steal food or money to feed the
starving child. The person have doubt to steal anything for his/her child but the
conscience is his/her still steal a food or money to feed the starving child.

3.What is Erroneous Consciences? Give an example (10 pts.)


A Erroneous conscience is also called false conscience. It judges things in a
distorted manner since it considers bad acts as good and good acts as bad. It is a
judges incorrectly that what is good is evil and what is evil is good. Example of
Erroneous Conscience is, The motorist who pulls over upon seeing an accident
and calls 911. Another example is when the guy walking to work by the park who
stops to help a little girl who had been kind kidnapped and then put out in mid
winter.
4.What is Scrupulous Conscience? Give an example (10 pts.)
Scrupulous conscience is one which sees wrong where there is none. It is a
conscience which is extremely austere it is always scared to commit evil. It is
consequently unwarranted fear that something is a sin which, as a matter of fact,
is not. Example of Scrupulous Conscience is the, Ignorance of Catholic moral
teaching. The scrupulous person is often either a new convert from a very sinful
life, or a person who has recently had a renewal of religious devotion. Ir is also
example the Lack of trust in God.

5.What is Lax Conscience? Give an example (10 pts.)


A Lax conscience is the opposite of scrupulous conscience. It is the kind of
conscience which fails to see wrong where there is wrong. Lax Conscience would
be an inner voice that's not very good at guiding you towards doing what's right,
or else easily ignored. It also mean to relaxed the mind. Example of Lax
Conscience is, feigning virtue for viciously self-serving reasons, such as helping
little old ladies cross busy streets, and stealing their purses in the process. Another
is the vacillation, moral values that wax or wane depending on mood or
circumstances, as in a person who goes to the office and works diligently on a
dreary Tuesday, but calls in sick and goes golfing or fishing on a sunny Wednesday.
