Sentences High level of
picture support. Just one sight word
added per page.
By Anne Gardner, Common Core
Connection
Many thanks for your purchase! I hope you find these sight word
sentences useful.
I am dedicated to creating products that help kids build confidence with early
literacy skills. These sight words sentences are designed with a high level of
picture support. Just one sight word is added on each page.
Because of the highly supportive format, these sight word sentences can be
read during small group instruction, chorally with your whole class and/or in
literacy centers.
These sentences are designed to be introduced at school, and then sent home
for repeated practice. I encourage kids to color in a star each time they read
the page, and then to bring it back to me when they have filled in all the stars. I
often offer a small treat when kids return these completed sheets.
Please note: This purchase gives you a lifetime license for use with the students in your class. If you
have colleagues who would like to use this work, please refer them to my shop, Common Core
Connection by Anne Gardner. © 2013
Please have your child read at least one of the sheets to you
every night. Please provide support as needed to help your
child read accurately. At this point, most students benefit from
carefully touching each word as they read.
Each time your child reads a full page, please have him/her
color in one star on the bottom of the sheet.
Sincerely,
I
