POWER BOARD SIMPLE MAINTENANCE STEPS：

1、 Without electricity

1） Test input insurance tube F1 is open, if insurance tube open, may be D101, D102,

D103, D104, PQ101 breakdown

2） Detection of LY2 LY1, T101 phenomenon whether there is a short foot, EC101, EC201

if there is a bulge phenomeno

2、 Don't start UP

Test the 12 v is normal, if beating, probably, U101, U301, P101, PD301, PQ301, D105, R118,

R117 damage

3、 Black screen

Detect ADJ, BK/ON whether there is a 3.3 V voltage, if there is voltage. May L301, PD301

U302 damage, LED cable connected to the power supply board is strong

4、 The splash screen protection

Detect ADJ, BK/ON whether there is a 3.3 V voltage, article LED backlight is within the

specifications of the power supply board, LED output interface is connected well

5、 Screen is dark

Detect ADJ for 3.3 V voltage, RS301, RS302, RS303, RS304 if damaged

TV WORKING PROCESS：

When connected to the mains, and 1th CON2 power plate in Figure 2 terminals, 2 foot boards of the output voltage is
available from +12V in Figure 1 Terminal CN1, 5th leg in order to meet basic motherboard standby voltage, working light
is red.

一、stand by mode：

When the power is on, in order to meet the requirement of stand by basic working voltage for the main board

the output voltage between the 1st and 2nd feet of CON2 interface of power board and the 1st and 2nd feet of CN

interface of main board is +12V , the working light is red now.

二、working mode.
In case of meet the standby mode , turn on by pressing the STANDBY on key board or POWER key on the remote
control, working lights changed from red to green when working.
1. Backlight working conditions
When switch on, on the main board ,the 4th of CN1 pin will give the instruction of output 4-5 V voltage to the 3rd foot
CON2 terminals of power Board ,to open LED constant current partial circuits on the power supply, to meet the basic
requirements of the screen light. .The brightness of backlight will be controlled by from the output voltage of the 3rd
of CN1 pin on main board to the CON2 PIN on the power board to control the output power of CON4 on constant current
circuits.
2. The working conditions of glass for panel.
the working voltage for glass of panel 5V and the correct software, the working voltage for panel is selected by

jumper JP5 of main board.

SIMPLE HANDLING OF COMMON TROUBLE SHOOTING：

Ask：can’t turn on, the indication light is off.

Answer：
1. keep the power off，measure the fuse on power board by” Electrical barrier” of Multimeter,if it’s open,pls check
the components After the fuse are damaged. it they are working correctly, pls change the fuse by checking the 1st and
2nd feet of CON2 (which show on Power test charts 2 )have voltage 12V.
2. the fuse work properly, the 1st and 2nd feet of CON2 interface which show on Power test charts 2 doesn’t have
voltage 12V,pls remove the connect cord between CON 2 on power board and CN1 on main board,check there is 12v
voltage between the 1st and 2nd feet of CON2 interface,if the voltage is normal, pls check which part of the main
board is failure .
3. The indication light for 12V voltage on the 5th and 6th feet of CN1 interface which show on main board charts 1 is
off, check there is voltage 5V of the 14th foot of the main board chart 1 work correctly,if without voltage 5V,pls change
the main board.

Ask：there are vertical or horizontal one or more bright line on the panel.

answer：Panel not good,pls replace panel

Ask：There are one or more bright dot or dark dot on panel.

Answer：pls replace panel if find the bright dot,for dark dot pls confirm it’s caused by the glass of panel,if no,pls
open panel to clear the glass foreign body (Note: open screen must be under cleanroom and anti-static action, clear
foreign objects when you need to wipe, you must use a clean cloth and special cleaning agent)

Notice:

1、 Change panel, the model no. should be same as the replaced one.

2、 Change the main board,make sure the working voltage of panel, as show on pic.(red frame).

3、 Replace main board,keep the same software same, if the software is different, pls upgrade it.

4、 Change LVDS cable, pls keep the serial no and PIN same.

Methods of upgrading software

Method 1
1、 Release the compressed folder “SUOJIA_ST2359_F17….zip”.

2、 find “MERGE59.bin”,copy it to Root directory of the USB memory stick

3、 Insert USB memory stick into the interface of USB ,remove AC power when it’s in standby state, pls

make sure the indication light of host is off.

4、 Connect with AC power again, The host will start to upgrade automatically, at moment, the indication

light of host is twinkling, after finish ,the light stopped flashing.

5、 Pls remove the USB memory stick and restart the TV.

Method 2
Pls keep tv on as usual, handle the following with display.
1、 Release “SUOJIA_ST2359_F17….zip”

2、 find “MERGE59.bin”,copy it to Root directory of the USB memory stick

3、 input “SOURCE-2-5-8-0” by remote control to enter “Factory Setting”，pls select “Software

Update(USB)”

4、 the system detect USB device whether there is upgrade file,if yes,it will give a hint whether it need

upgrade , if yes, select “yes” to enter upgrade automatically.

Upgrade notes：

1、 No matter which method ,be used , pls keep the power on during the upgrading, or the IC will be

damaged.

2、 It will take 3miniutes for upgrading

3、 Pls make sure the software is correct or the panel won’t display properly.

The instruction of replace start up logo

The preparation of document for LOGO

Pls give a name photo of LOGO as “sogoLogo.jpg”, copy it to the root directory of the USB memory stick, the
USB memory stick can’t have other software inside(that means the file with .BIM), or LOGO can’t upgrade normal, the
pixel of logo depend on the pixel of panel, it’s capacity can’t bigger than 150KB.

The operation instruction of replace logo

1、 Press “source”,It will show the following interface.

2、 Pls input 2-5-8-0 by remote control first to enter the factory setting,before the source interface
is

3、 Press down key,select “special set and confirm key,the following interface will come out.

4、 Select “caputure” ,press the right key to confirm,enter the program of replaced logo,after
finish the host will restart automatically,pls check replacement is successfully.
5、 After restart automatically,pls select “restore factory settings” under “factory setting”, after the
factory reset,restart,to confirm the updated logo not be deleted.
