Activity #2
Instructions: In a Social Studies online class, create a list of places or situations where you feel
safe. Does “school/home” appear on the list? Based on its position, is the school/home doing
everything necessary to make you feel safe? If not, we shall discuss these—

These are the only two areas that I found my comfort during online class in these trying
times and in the midst of the pandemic:

HOME It is true that “no one feels like home” and

that is something that I find relevant while
having online classes because in my home,
although everything is not feasible, the
least that I feel safe, comfortable, and
happy.

UNIVERSITY Although face-to-face classes at Cebu

Normal University are not yet feasible. For
me, it is always safe to study in the
university concerning that a student learns
and grows more in the school, especially in
the four corners of the classroom.

V. Enhancement

Instructions: Discuss the school emergency drills you have practiced. List these on a piece of
paper. Add the new ones that you will help you learn about and practice. Challenge your chat
mates to describe the type of emergency each drill would help them prepare for.

Earthquake Drill:

● "Drop, Cover and Hold on" ...

● FACE AWAY from windows.
● If you don't have a shelter to hang on to, drop and cover with your hands linked on
the back of your neck, and cover the side of your head with your arms to protect
your neck, head and face.
● Remain in place until the shaking stops.
Through these guidelines that I have learned at school, I could reflect on how significant is
to conduct drills in every area in this world.
VII. Course Evaluation

Instructions: Recall every concept on the teaching approach, method, and technique that
you have learned in this lesson. Evaluate the extent of your understanding of an item by
checking in the right column.
