    Place: United Arab Emirates

    Symbolism:
    Zuleika - symbolizes purity of heart.
    Dates - symbolizes hope.

    Characters:
    Ali Ben - a great leader of his tribe. The one who welcomed the great sheik with
    hospitality.
    Zuleika - a wonderful kid, daughter of Ali Ben and the reason why there was a
    wonder tree.
    Sheik Ben Nedi - a great leader of the other tribe. The visitor of Ali Ben.
    The Fairy - a kind fairy who helped Zuleika in her problem on what to give the
    Sheik.

    As you look at the list of characters, determine whether the characters have a
    goal and attempt to reach the goal. You need to determine what specific
    character in the story/book of your choice sets goal for you to answer the
    succeeding questions. Make sure to include all characters that are needed to
    make the story unfold and come to life.
    Initiating Event:
    A stranger came to talk the tribe especially the chief, Ali Ben Ahmed that the
    sheik, Ben Nedi will be coming to visit their tribe.

    Goal:
    Zuleika: (she wants to offer something to the visitor of their tribe).
    Ali Ben: (he wanted to give his guest a warm welcome to their tribe).
    The Fairy: (intended to help the chief's daughter with its problem).
    Sheik Ben Nedi: (to visit and give lesson to the dessert tribes).

    Attempts/Action:
    Ali Ben - he prepared gifts and feasted on the arrival of the great sheik.
    Zuleika - she had a fairy friend who helped her to give a gift to the sheik.
    The Fairy - the fairy approached Zuleika to comfort and make sure that she will
    have an offer for the sheik.
    Sheik Ben Nedi - traveled to the dessert and sending a messenger to the tribe.

    Outcome:
    Ali Ben - Yes, he fulfilled his desire to be well and beautifully visited by the sheik
    by giving him a beautiful offering.
    Zuleika - Yes, her little wish was granted when she finally offered to the sheik the
    tree who served as her gift.
    The Fairy - Yes, the fairy helped Zuleika by fulfilling the child's request.
    Sheik Ben Nedi - Yes, the sheik gave the tribe a very good advice for their living.
    Story Ending:
    The ending of this story is really beautiful. The daughter of the chief was very
    greatful on the result of her offering. Where all his countrymen were happy
    especially the Sheik. The great Sheik agreed that Zuleika's gift was the best of all
    because they know that the tree can give them food from it's fruits, fiber and
    shade.
    Moral Lesson:
