Terms of Enrolment & Withdrawal
Applicants are required to carefully read the following policies, terms and conditions governing the
admission and enrolment of all students at Lavonne Academy of Baking Science & Pastry Arts:
1. All applications and fees must be received and realized no later than 1 month before the commencement of the course.
2. A student is considered fully enrolled upon registration and payment of all fees and deposits as set out in the Fee schedule.
3. Lavonne Academy of Baking Science & Pastry Arts reserves the right to revise the fee payable without prior notice.
4. All fees are payable in advance as required according to due dates given by the Accounts department.
5. Payments are to be in the form of bank transfer (telegraphic transfer), demand draft or crossed cheque made payable to the
account provided to you by the Academy. Please do not send any cash through post.
6. Payment by credit / debit card has to be made on site at the Academy, and incurs the required percentile surcharge.
7. Failure to pay fees will result in the student being barred from classes, examinations and other facilities.
8. Fees paid is non-transferable to any other course.
9. In the event a student is expelled or is suspended or discontinues the program / module due to disciplinary / academic
misconduct, there shall be no refund of fees paid.
10. Students must abide by all academic, administrative and examination rules, regulations and policies of Lavonne Academy of
Baking Science & Pastry Arts.
11. Lavonne Academy of Baking Science & Pastry Arts, shall be under no liability whatsoever to any student for any loss or damage or
death and personal injury caused by negligent act or omission of any student sustained at the Academy’s premises.
For withdrawal from classes, an official request has to be handed to the Lavonne Academy Office in writing stating reasons for the
same. The proportion of Course Fees Refund is shown as follows:
• NO REFUND shall be given if an applicant declares withdrawal LESS THAN 30 working days from the course commencement.
• If an applicant gives MORE THAN 30 working days notice prior to the commencement date of the course, they will be eligible to
a refund of the amount remitted after deducting the applicable cancellation charge of 40%.
• All refunds will be made only in the name of the account from which the money was received.
