    Important Instructions - Practical Training IV

    1) Margin:
    Left – 1.5” Right – 1”
    Bottom – 1” Left – 1”

    2) Page Layout/Page Size:


    8.5”/13.5”

    3) Drafting print out:


    Green paper/Legal paper – 1
    White legal paper – 1

    4) Font – Times New Roman


    Size – 13
    5) Spacing of 1.5.
    6) Print out one page one OR back to back.
    BUT INDEX, SYNOPSIS, VAKALATNAMA and DOCKET are to be on
    fresh page.
    7) Your signature is to be affixed on VAKALATNAMA, VERIFICATION
    and before VERIFICATION as an advocate. Rest places to be done as sd/-
    8) Drafts are to be left hand cornered stitched OR side stitched with white
    green thread.
    9) Judgements are to be attached at the back of the docket.
    10)Page Nos. are to be put from synopsis till Vakalatnama at the bottom of the
    page. If not inserted in word computer draft, it can be put manually at the
    right hand corner of the each page from synopsis till Vakalatnama.
    NO NUMBER to be put on DOCKET, JUDGEMENTS and FIRST PAGE
    11)Synopsis to be made on fresh page. (Numbers should match in Index)
    12)Vakalatnama to be made fresh page. (Numbers should match in Index)
    13)Docket must be on fresh page. (No Number)
    14)SYNOPSIS and INDEX are to be in tabular form.
    15)Verification is the part of Petition/Affidavit in reply.
    16)Petition will consist of prayers , whereas no prayers will be there in
    Affidavit in reply.
    17)Please write name of your concerned High Court depending on your case.
