Learning Objective(s):

The course will enable students to:


1. Break down and criticize the contemporary debates on globalization.
2. Analyze and appraise some of the major issues in the contemporary world order.
3. Understand the global system of nation-state in terms of Globalization
4. Know about the major issues in the world.
5. To develop an insight into the social issues of the world.
6. To learn about environmental and energy issues.
7. To learn about Civil Society and its movement all around the world.
8. Knowing about political and social conflicts in the world.

Learning Outcomes

1. This course will develop the understanding of the student about the issues that are
significant and have an impact on the current world order.
2. The course will help the student to develop the capability to comprehend and correlate a
series of major issues in world order related to globalization, forms of resistance, the
importance of global finance, global migration, the persistence of poverty and inequality
and concerns around environmental change.
3. The course will help the student understand global competitiveness and frame their own
opinion about changing global order based on the contemporary issues being discussed
through the course.
