Daisy Keychain

(Fully Reversible)
UK Terms
Materials:

Hayfield Bonus White 0961 – 3g


Hayfield Bonus Bright Lemon 0819 – Oddment

Keychain
3mm Crochet Hook
Wool Needle (for sewing)

Abbreviations:

ch – chain
dc – double crochet
htrinc – 2 half treble crochets into next stitch
BLO – dc into back loops only
FLO – dc into front loops only
sl st – slip stitch
f/o – fasten off by slip stitch in next stitch

Note:

Unless stated work in continuous rounds marking last stitch of each row with a stitch
marker before proceeding with the next.

Centre:
Using Bright Lemon
Row 1: ch2, dc 6 into 2nd st from hook (alternatively dc 6sts into magic ring) (6)
Row 2: htrinc x6 (12) sl st to join

F/O leaving a short end

Petals:
Using White
Row 3: FLO Row; sl st into any FLO from previous row (ch10, sl st into next st) x12 (12
petals)
Row 4: BLO Row; sl st into BLO directly behind last FLO st, (ch10, sl st into next st) x12
(12 petals)

F/O leaving a 20cm end

Backing Centre:
Using Bright Lemon
Row 1: ch2, dc 6 into 2nd st from hook (alternatively dc 6sts into magic ring) (6)
Row 2: htrinc x6 (12) sl st to join
F/O leaving a 25cm end

Place back on reverse of daisy making sure that the edges are in line with the inner edges
of the daisy petals.
Using 20cm Bright Lemon end, over-sew backing centre to reverse of daisy, enclosing all
the ends.
Secure with a couple of small sts.
Weave end through middle of daisy centre and cut flush.
Thread the 20cm White end in between the 2 rows of daisy petals and attach keychain
using several small back sts.
Secure with a couple of small sts.
Weave end through middle of daisy centre and cut flush.
