There are different types of text:


1. Informational text – texts that give information about a topic.
Example: news articles, travelogues, feature article, content area
materials like Mathematics, Science, etc.
2. Procedural texts – texts tell the procedure, directions or steps on
how to do something.
Examples: recipe, steps in solving word problems, dance steps, etc.
3. Text that enumerate – texts that show a list.
4. Problem-Solution text – text that shows the problem and gave
solutions to the problem.

Read and understand the following types of text.

Lexus and The Tiger


One rainy day, a traveler named Lexus fell into a wide pit. He struggle
very hard to escape. He noticed a dying tiger who was also struggling to get
out from the pit. Lexus found a huge log and use it to escape.
He was about to run but he felt pity with the tiger. So he got the log
and put it near the tiger. The weak tiger slowly climbed up and managed to
escape his death.
One day, Lexus meet a tiger who tried to kill him. But the tiger
remembered him and they became friends.

Step 2: You can read the story again if you need to.
Step 3: Answer the following questions about the story for comprehension
