What did you discover about your entrepreneurial traits with regard to your motivations,
aptitudes and attitudes?

The initiative program put forward by BDC based on an individual's mindset relating to
various aspects is a new and innovative way of assessing the potentials to be a successful entrepreneur.
Considering, the characteristics such as motivation, aptitudes, and attitudes used here for determining
the evaluation.

'Entrepreneurial Potential Self-Assessment' is the key to inquiries that the potential business
person must answer before starting any business entity or thinking of stepping into the business.

When I conducted the survey; the result was convincing for being an entrepreneur. After
answering the questionnaire, my motivational skills were above average in level. That means I will be
able to motivate positively those who are on my team. In this regard, factors such as the power to lead,
influence others, and meeting challenges/ ambition, by a constant desire to learn and achieve the
dreams were shown above average in the assessment. On the other hand, the need to achieve, and self-
sufficiency in taking decisions, the degree of assessment was measured as average and below-average
respectively.

In the next phase of the assessment my natural tendencies, competencies, and abilities were
evaluated. Here, my tolerance level and finding different solutions to a problem were assessed as simply
average. But the perseverance/ determination level of bouncing back was showed as below average, but
among all the other criteria my self-confidence level was above average and very optimistic. Comprising
all the above factors, my aptitude characteristics were assessed as above average in general.

My attitude on different aspects was assessed later in the program, one's attitude is comprised
of observations and our emotions about something. My perception of success in an event was evaluated
as below average only. I believe an entrepreneur should be action-oriented. For business success, an
entrepreneur has to be focused and determined, which is awarded only above average.

Combining all the three potential strings of the characteristics to be a successful entrepreneur, it
determined me as an average candidate. The scores came upon this self-assessment survey was
interesting, I was on the assumption that I'm having most of the qualities, but the survey program
touched on various areas those which are not on my list.

Supporting the survey, I want to overcome my fears such as bouncing back to the problem, and
independent decision making. I never believe in luck when it comes to business, our actions and efforts
should be responsible for our deeds.
