(Present pictures and models of a male and female organ)

 Ask the students to name the male and female reproductive organs from the photos being presented.

A. Female Reproductive Organ

 Visual Aid 3. EXPLORE (Activity 2)
 PowerPoint Presentation
 Tell the students to give the function of each organ.
 PowerPoint Presentation 4. EXPLAIN (analysis)
“Question-Answer Activity”

 Tell the students to use their notes and learnings from the previous activities about the organs
and functions of the male and female reproductive system in answering the question.
1. What receives the sperm and fluid from the epididymis?
2. What is the male reproductive organ?
3. Where does fertilization occur?
4. What is the inner layer of the uterus called?
5. The fallopian tubes have fingerlike projections called?
6. What male organ serves as a temporary storage of sperm cells before they are released in the
urethra?

8. Where does fertilization usually take place?
9. What organ receives the penis?
10. What organ secretes a slightly alkaline milky fluid that is discharged as part of the semen?

Functions of the female reproductive

system:

2. receives sperm cells from the male
3. nurtures the development and provides
nourishment for the new individual.
 Activity sheet
Guide Question:
1.What is the role of a male reproductive and female reproductive organ in the sexual
reproduction?

5. ELABORATE ( Abstraction)
“ Brainstorming”

 Tell the students to form 5 groups and complete the table below.
 Activity Sheet 6. APPLICATION
“ Love Team”
Ask the students to use the same groupings and assign a couple representative of the group to present the
output in front of the class.

Your task is to identify which part of male and female reproductive organs have similar function Why?
(The teacher will give the further instruction for the activity.)

 Instruct the students to answer the given diagram.

7. EXTEND
“Extension Activity”

 Describe the feedback mechanisms involved in regulating processes in the female reproductive system.
