What is a Noun?
Definition: A noun is a ‘naming word’. The names of things, persons, places,
feelings are all classified under Noun.
Kinds of noun
There are four types of Nouns in English grammar.

5. Material Noun

Common noun
Definition: Common noun refers to the name common to all persons or
things of the same kind, e.g. boy, girl, city, book, etc.

common nouns by adding a ‘suffix’ to them.
