    CHOOSING THE TOPIC: For professors at the university, keeping track of attendance is a

    crucial responsibility in order to keep track of absence in the classroom.

    Attendance tracking is widely acknowledged as a critical component of

    effective management.

    boosting students' engagement and academic performance. It is a useful

    means of detecting difficulties early on and providing students with the

    necessary help.

    The proponent would like to design a system that would aim to

    keep track of students who may be absent from class for longer than the

    allowed percentage of time. The propose system is entitled "WEB-

    based Attendance Monitoring System with SMS Notification”

    assists in managing absence reports from professors and immediately


    communicates the information to parents and students via SMS

    notification. The system's interaction with SMS is very useful because it

    can instantly notify parents about their children's attendance issues.

     The study only revolves on the attendance monitoring system.


    Scope of the Study
     The study aims to send sms notification to the parents about the
    students attendance.
     The system also provides a search capability and generates reports
    of the attendance.

     This research focused on developing a mobile solution on the a web


    Limitations of the Study
    system. The solution therefore can only be deployed on devices
    which are web enabled.
     Only the admin is allow to generate the attendance report. This
    system needs load to send SMS notifications to the parents or
    guardians of every student it is also cannot apply the real-time
    communication between the application user and the operator
    through call
