SOP for Masters in Computer science

I have always considered the willingness of an individual to work hard, go the extra mile to achieve the goals and constantly hone the skills
the most desirable virtue of a person. Hence, I have constantly tried to inculcate this value in myself even from my schooling. Through my
incessant endeavours to learn newer things, acquire novel skills and better myself holistically, I have understood that I have much to learn
and grounds to cover. However I discern that only when we challenge and push ourselves to newer pastures where the tides are different
can we constantly learn and become better. It is with this realization to fortify myself with impeccable pragmatic and pedagogic insights in
computer science that I seek admission to the master program in Computer Science from Purdue University, West Lafayette Indiana.

Even from my foundational academic years, I have toiled to be an exceptional student who always came as the best in the school. I was
very dedicated to learn new things and profoundly understand about the same so that I would never forget about it. I have also been a
responsible student who has constantly fared well in my exams, done the homework and submitted my projects and seminars on time. This
conscientious nature of mine has carried over to my higher education as well where I was able to score 90.4% in my secondary education,
the CGPA of 8.4 in my higher secondary and the exceptional CGPA of 9.36 in my undergraduate course. Apart from being an ardent
learner, I have been actively involved in a range of extracurricular activities as well. I have participated in various inter-school quiz
competitions and Olympiads and received certificates of merit. I have also been active in sports where I led the school volleyball team and
have been a member of the school cricket team. I was also involved as member of the core sponsorship team at the Amity Youth Fest,
2016. And have also acted as the organizer of the Inter Amity Sports Meet, “Sangathan” in 2016 and the CEO Forum, “Confluence” in
2017 along with many other workshops and coding competitions. I have published a term paper on “Cloud Computing” in 2015. I have
attended training programs at the National Informatics Center, Government of India in New Delhi. I have interned at various organizations
such “HCL Technologies”, Noida; at “Enigma”, Pitampura, New Delhi; and at “TrueDo Technologies”, Dwarka, New Delhi. I have also
associated with Drexel University, Philadelphia in two different projects in the capacity of student developer. I am currently working on
three different projects developing interpreted object-oriented programming language named “Caffeine”; couple of android applications
and an Online Judge Platform utilizing various programming languages and technologies. I have also submitted a paper IEEE for
publication explaining the values of Caffeine, the programming language and to make Caffeine a fully functional programming language.

Even from my childhood I was very fascinated in math and physics which helped me develop impeccable analytics and decision-making
skills. This was one of the major reasons I took Computer Science and Engineering in my under graduate course. At the under graduate
course, I was introduced to a range of newer subjects such as data structures, algorithms, a range of programming languages and the
process of application development. The more I learned about these subjects, the more I became fascinated about the same. The researches
I have carried out to understand about the employment opportunities helped me realize that doing the master program in computer science
will help me learn more about the same and immensely nurture my skills in the field of computer science.

USA is definitely the most desired destination for students from across the world owing to a number of reasons such as the quality of the
education system, impeccable academic and research infrastructure capabilities and the availability of exceptionally valuable internship
opportunities. Having heard this myself and understood by means of the researches I have carried out, it was natural for me to seek to
pursue my higher education in computer science from the US, one of the best education systems in the world.

The researches to find the most suitable university matching my aspirations have given me the opportunity to understand the academic and
research capabilities of a range of universities across the US. However, Purdue University was able to impress me with the exceptional
student-friendly program they have been able to proffer the students without fail. Browsing through the website of the university, I have
been able to comprehend that the university is definitely a center of excellent academic transaction and will certainly be able to mold me
into an exceptional and ardent computer science professional. The expansive research and academic infrastructure coupled with the
forward-thinking and matchlessly experienced faculty will certainly provide me with all the necessary insights and facilitation I need to
become the professional I aspire to become. I was also markedly impressed with the experiential learning methods the university relies on
to impart the training and mold the aspirants to meet the real world challenges quite effectively. I am very much aware of the financial
obligations I have to discharge during the course of my study in the US. As such, my cousin who works with Google in California is
sponsoring all the expenses that I may incur in the US such as tuition fees, stay and other living expenses, travel and all other related
expenses. The financial statements of the cousin have been attached herewith for your thorough scrutiny.

I am convinced that the master program from one of the leading universities in the US will also add matchless value to my profile and
employment prospects in India. As the employment prospects for a professional with an international master program in India are
exemplary, I would like to return to India after the master program in computer science and build a strong career in computer science in
