Sub: CONDUCT OF SIX-WEEK CERTIFICATE COURSE IN SPORTS COACHING UNDER
MASS SPORTS PARTICIPATION PROGRAMME FROM 09TH MAY 2022 TO 30TH JUNE

Sports Authority of India, Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports Patiala invites
online applications from the candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission to the Six
Week Certificate Course in Sports Coaching for academic session 2022-23. Eligible candidates
desirous to seek admission to Six Week Certificate Course in Sports Coaching should apply online
on the registration portal (https://www.6wcc.nsnis.in) before the last date prescribed in the
notification.

Sports Authority of India through its Academic Wing NSNIS, Patiala, is going to conduct
Six Week Certificate Course in Sports Coaching in the following sports disciplines from 09th May
2022 to 30th June 2022 for men and women having passion for sports coaching and/or working in
schools/colleges/universities/industrial houses and other agencies associated with sports:

1. Archery 2. Athletics 3. Badminton 4. Basketball 5. Boxing 6. Canoeing & Kayaking

7. Cricket 8. Fencing 9. Football 10.Gymnastics 11.Handball 12 Hockey 13.Judo
14.Kabaddi 15.Kho-Kho 16 Rollball 17. Rowing 18. Softball 19.Shooting 20.Swimming
21. Taekwondo 22.Table Tennis 23.Lawn Tennis 24.Volleyball 25.Weightlifting
26.Wrestling 27.Wushu 28.Yoga

NOTE: i) Online Theory Classes will be conducted by main Academic Centres

of SAI NS NIS, Patiala.
ii) Practical classes will be conducted at the Centres which will be decided
by SAI NSNIS, Patiala keeping in view the strength of the classes and
COVID-19 restriction guidelines at respective SAI Centres.
iii) The batch strength in each Sports discipline will be range from 30 to 50 students.

I. APPLICATION PROCEDURE: The Candidates desirous to seek admission in Six-week

Certificate Course are required to apply online and enclose online payment receipt of Rs.1000/-
generated through SB Collect. Candidate may use different mode of payment while using SB
Collect such as Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet banking, SBI Bank Challan and SBI buddy
application.

5) Type of Institute → Select Education Institution → Go
6) Education Institute name → Select Sports Authority of India

8) Fill the Form → Submit

II. FEE PAYABLE

The prescribed fee for the entire duration of the Six-week Certificate Course is Rs.22,400/-
which includes lodging, boarding and other miscellaneous expenses.

REPORTING PHYSICALLY AT THE CENTRE OF TRAINING AS APPLICABLE.

III. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Candidates who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria of educational qualification and sports
achievement are eligible to apply. To select the candidates for the course, a merit list will be
prepared based on the marks allotted as mentioned below.

IV. AGE: 20-42 years as on 09-05-2022

Relaxation in Age: Relaxation in upper age limit up to five years will be given to
the candidates belongs to SC/ST/OBC & Candidates belongs to
North-East Region.

DURATION OF THE COURSE: Six Weeks from 09th May 2022 to 30th June 2022.

V. PLAYING KIT: The selected candidates will have to bring the following items of
uniform, sports equipment and clothing for their personal use
during the course.

a) Uniform: Candidates have to bring their own Warm-up shoes, Game

shoes, White socks, Vests, T-shirts, Shorts,Track lower/trouser
(for female candidates) and Track-suits, etc.for their personal
use.

Sports Equipment : The candidates selected for the course will have to bring their
own sports equipments required in the concerned game/sport.

b) Clothing: The candidates selected for the course will have to bring their
own bedding and clothing as per their requirement.
VI. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION WITH FEE :The last date of receiving the online
application is 25th April 2022.

VII. REJECTION OF APPLICATION: Incomplete applications, copies of documents not uploaded,

applications without the application fee of Rs.1000/- and the
applications not certified by Registered Medical Practitioner will
be rejected (not considered).

1. Sports Authority of India reserves the right to cancel a course or change the venue
without assigning any reason
2. Further information about the Certificate Course, if any, can be obtained from the

3. It is mandatory for the selected candidates to bring with them the valid
health/accidental insurance Policy as SAI/NIS authorities will not be responsible for
any mis-happening on or off the field during the Course.
4. Spouse and dependents are not permitted to stay with selected candidates.
