• NICE/BOA guidances etc • Scores range from 4 (fail) to 8 (outstanding)
• BASIC principles
• Cover all knowledge books again

• Technique is key • 96 Scores Overall

• Consultants/Seniors – useful • Average 6 to pass - 576/768

• VIVA
– 4 stations (Paeds/Hands,Trauma, BS, Path) • Smart
– 3 topics per consultant – 6 topics per station
– 12 scores per station, 48 scores in total (1/2) • Get there early

• Ignore others
• CLINICAL
– 2 short case stations (U/L, L/L) • Don’t worry about ‘Funky’ stuff
– 3 cases in each, 24 Scores in total
– 2 ‘long cases’ (U/L, L/L) – 24 scores total • Move on and stay focused
– 48 scores in total(1/2)
