authority of decision making.
2. Approval for the proposed type of night work from O/E prior to the start
of the activity.
3. Availability of the O/E Approved Night shift risk assessment at site for
the proposed activity.
4. Layout showing the location of light towers, their placement, lateral
placement and mounting height and clearly showing the location of all
lights necessary for all work to be done at night.
5. Availability of the O/E Approved Method statements for the proposed
night shift activities.
6. Establishment of the Emergency procedures and its implementation
for the proposed night shift activities.
7. Availability of adequate lighting with emergency light and backup power
for all the staircases, internal access roads & work areas.
8. Availability of full-time trained and certified first aider & firefighting
equipment for night shift activities. (Remote site location -Requirement
of Ambulance as per ADPHC/DOH)
9. Availability of suitable site security for night work activities with the
controlled main gate.
10. Availability of site supervisors nominated from Main Contractor &
Subcontractors for the night shift with communication facilities.
11. Availability of Safety induction program for night shift and evidence of
its communication to the workforce on site.
12. Availability of Welfare facilities as per the ADPHC requirements.
13. Daily Night shift toolbox talk meeting program at site.
14. Availability of PTW/ NOCs from the relevant authorities at site for the
night shift activities.
15. Regular basis noise level monitoring shall be carried out in
accordance with the requirements of Local Authority & International
standards.
16. Illumination measurement conducted and recorded prior to start of the
activities.
17. Environmental monitoring conducted.
18. Critical activities personal helmet lights shall be provided.

Note:

We undertake to carry out the night shift activities in accordance with TRANSCO/TAQA, ADPHC and
other relevant International construction safety standards. We are aware that we are liable for
financial penalties/warning letters for failing to carry out our works in accordance to the
TRANSCO/TAQA requirements & standards. We are also aware that in the event of Transco issuing
Stop Work Orders or Prohibition Notices we are bound to stop the work immediately in accordance
with Transco requirements & standards without any time & Cost implication.
