Selection Criteria:: 2022 CFK Africa Scholarship Call For Application
CFK Africa provides a merit-based scholarship that covers school fees coupled with a mentorship program to
successful awardees in priority informal settlements across eight (8) Counties in Kenya. Awardees are selected
based on vulnerability, academic excellence and leadership potential.
Selection criteria:
1. The applicant must have sat for their KCPE in March 2022.
2. The applicant must have sat for KCPE in a public primary school and secured an admission letter to a
public boarding secondary school.
3. The applicant must have attained a minimum score of 350 marks and above in KCPE.
4. The applicant MUST have proof of RESIDENCE from the priority Informal Settlement.
5. The Applicant must prove that they have no other means of raising funds for education.
Application process:
1. The physical application form shall be collected and returned at the designated collection points. (See
below table).
2. Please download the application using the link below, fill out the required fields, and send it back with
required documents to [email protected].

3. All completed forms must be accompanied by all relevant supporting documents.
4. The application period will run until 31st March 2022 at 5:00pm.
5. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend interviews in their respective Counties.
Required Documents:
• Photocopy of the 2022 KCPE result slip (stamped by school)
• Photocopy BIRTH CERTIFICATE
• In-case of deceased parent(s) please attach photocopies of death certificate(s)
• Recommendation letter from the school Head Teacher /local administration (stamped by school and the
Local Administration office respectively)

• Incomplete applications will not be considered.
• The application form is strictly not for sale.
• CFK Africa does not charge or request monetary advancement for this process.
• Submitting an application does not guarantee the applicant a scholarship.
