Teaching point: Writing

1. Aims/Objectives:
- Educational aims: Students update their knowledge about energy consumption.
- Language skills: The simple past tense and some words concerning energy
consumption.
2. Skills:
- Writing: writing description of the trends of energy consumption.
- Reading: reading comprehension.
- Speaking: describe the chart of energy consumption.

4. Teaching aids: color chalk, black board, picture and textbook.
