    RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRIORITY COVID RESPONSE INTERVENTION FOR


    FUNDING OF THE BARANGAY GRANT ALLOCATION FROM THE KALAHI-CIDSS-
    NATIONAL COMMUNITY DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

    WHEREAS, the KALAHI-CIDSS National Community Driven Development Program


    (KC-NCDDP) is one of the poverty alleviation programs of the Philippine government being
    implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD);

    WHEREAS, by virtue of Proclamation No. 922, declaring a State of Public Health


    Emergency in the entire country, the KC-NCDDP shifted its program implementation to
    Disaster Response Operations Procedure (DROP) to be more responsive to the current
    COVID-19 pandemic;

    WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council


    (BDRRMC) identified 5 priority interventions to respond to the identified problems and needs
    brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, as follows;

    WHEREAS, the intervention/s that can be accommodated by the grant fund

    WHEREAS, the Project Preparation Team and council members will work closely
    with the KALAHI CIDSS NCDDP staff on the preparation of the Sub-Project Proposal and
    documentary requirements for the request for fund release;

    NOW THEREFORE, on motion of ______________________ duly seconded by the


    BDRRMC members present, be it RESOLVED, as it is HEREBY RESOLVED, TO
    APPROVE THE PRIORITY COVID RESPONSE INTERVENTION FOR FUNDING OF THE
    BARANGAY GRANT ALLOCATION FROM THE KALAHI-CIDSS-NATIONAL
    COMMUNITY DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM;

    RESOLVED FURTHER, that the grant funds will be used in accordance with set
    financial policies and standards of the program, and the processes are compliant to the
    Disaster Response Operation Manual of the Kalahi CIDSS NCDDP;

    RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Municipal


    Local Government Unit through the KC NCDDP Office, the Department of Social Welfare
    and Development and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council for
    their information and reference.
