5 Fm Tadka, one of the most popular radio stations of Rajasthan, has now entered Raipur, Chattisgarh with a resounding

bang. February 28th, 2009 marked the launch of Tadka in Raipur, the capital city of Chattisgarh with a potential of 30 lakh listeners. It is the 4th radio station of Tadka after successful launches in Jaipur, Kota and Udaipur. Honble Chief Minister of Chattisgargh Mr. Raman Singh inaugurated the station and had its services broadcasted on-air. Giving a complete local touch, the song of 'Gainda Phool'- Delhi-6 fame, was played as the first song, as the song belongs to Chattisgarh folk. Tadka created a buzz in Raipur using various innovative BTL activites like teaser and launch hoardings all across the city, banners, stepney covers, no parking boards etc, it has also tied up with a leading Daily Newspaper for several activities, and has also tied up with multiplexes as a part of its promotional activity.
