    NUMERACY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION
    School Year 2022-2023

    Deparment of Education implemented the program Brigada Eskwela and


    Brigada Pabasa and Numeracy Enhancement to encourage volunteerism and
    strong partnership of the stakeholders, teachers, and the community. The
    programs also help to improve the school and the learners to enhance their
    reading literacy and numeracy skills and most specifically to prepare the school
    community for another school year.
    August 08, 2022, Gamut National High School blasts the launching of
    BRIGADA ESKWELA KICK OFF PLUS BRIGADA PABASA AND NUMERACY
    ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION through a parade
    participated by the schools esteemed stakeholders. The program started at 8:00
    o’clock in the morning with the singing of the Philippine National anthem led by
    Ms. Rossie Vim S. Fernandez – Grade 11, Adviser and followed by an invocation
    by Mrs. Jean C. Banug – Grade 7, adviser. Mrs. Jessica O. Duyan – Grade 7
    Adviser checked the attendance. After which, Hon. Antonieto R. Togonon – the
    GPTA President gave his words of welcome, and a statement of purpose was
    given by Mrs. Lorna O. Vermon – Principal 1.
    Additionally, all teachers, volunteers, parents, SGC, and GPTA officers
    did the signing of commitment as sign of their relentless support to the school’s
    project and program implementation. Accordingly, Hon. Jovelyn Z. Malinao –
    Brgy. Captain of Gamut, Barobo, Surigao del Sur gave her inspirational
    message. Another message was given by Hon. Daves Hawkins P. Sabatin – the
    SK Chairperson of Gamut. Lastly, Mr. Joel D. Ganancias – SGC President
    delivered his message.
    The parents and all other working force started cleaning and
    constructing the 1 span concrete fence and the most important of all which is
    cleaning and improving physical facilities of the school. Additionally, reading
    and math enhancement volunteers were assigned to the designated reading and
    math facility area. Student beneficiary actively participated in the activity.
    They’ve all been given with extra materials and worksheets for them to try at
    home.
    All the teachers of Gamut National High School were involved in the said
    event. Every teacher was assigned in different areas/designations like in
    Documentation, Attendance, Brigada Pabasa, Monitoring in – charge,
    Enrollment, and others.
    By God’s Grace, the activity ended -up successfully and all evidence were
    attached.
