    FAQ

    Q: Sometimes a small medal is blinking in the upper left corner of the screen. What's the
    meaning of this?
    A: This medal indicates that your character has advanced to the next experience level. Open
    your status screen to look into your current statistics.

    Q: Under what circumstances do I receive the code to transfer my character's experience to


    another part of the Ancient Ruins series?
    A: You will receive this code as soon as you have finished an episode. At the end of an
    episode there will be a portal close by the starting point. Entering this portal will finish the
    current episode.
    Once you enter the portal, your current character will be saved and you will be prompted
    with his name, current experience and transfer code.
    You can check this hero anytime later by selecting the menu point "Hero" from the main
    menu.

    Q: Can I create more than one hero at a time?


    A: No. There is only one hero at a time possible. If you create a new hero or import a hero
    the current hero will be lost.

    Q: How do I transfer my character to another part of the Ancient Ruins series?


    A: Write down carefully your character's name and transfer code which you will receive at
    the end of an episode. Now start the episode that you want to transfer your character in.
    Select "Start game" from the main menu and then "Import". Now enter you character's
    name and transfer code.

    Q: What is the meaning of the symbols in the status screen?


    A: The first symbol is a picture of your character and his name.
    The next symbol is an indicator of your attack power. The more attack symbols you've got
    the better your attack power will be. You can increase your attack power by collecting items.
    The third symbol is an indicator for your defence. The more symbols you've got the better
    your defence will be. Defence will reduce the damage you receive when being hit by a
    monster. Your defence can be increased by collecting items, too.
    The last symbol is an indicator for your current state of experience. The more enemies you
    defeat the higher your experience will grow and the more difficult the game will be.

    Q: How much attack power symbols, defence symbols and experience symbols can I get?
    A: Attack power and defence is limited to six symbols while experience is limited to five
    symbols.

    Q: Why does the bar on the upper screen border change its colour?
    A: This bar indicates the current time of day. It has no influence on the gameplay.

    Q: How can I improve my character? Will I receive another code?


    A: As soon as you have finished an episode you will receive a transfer code for your
    character. However, your character will also be saved on your mobile. So, you can restart
    the current episode with the same character at any time.
    Once you do so and finish the episode for a second time you will receive a new code that
    contains your whole progress. You can replay any episode as often as you want to steadily
    increase you character's experience.
    Q: Will I keep my experience points if I start a new game?
    A: That depends on what character you use to start a new game. If you choose an existing
    character or import another one, you will keep the experience points of the character. If you
    create a new character then the experience points will start over at 0.
