Job Title/ Role: BFSI-Domain Consultant


Job Summary:
This career opportunity is with the BFSI business of iDEAS GBL under D&C
domain. The FS business unit is on a phenomenal growth trajectory being an

Banking, Securities and Capital Markets and Insurance and has a global reach. In

Roles and 
Responsibilities:  A consultant will be involved through the duration of a project, especially in the
Requirements Gathering and Analysis phase of projects and is the interface
between the client and the development team, ensuring all the requirements
are translated into a working system to meet the requirements of the client.
 Key Responsibilities:
 Implement a structured approach to capturing business requirements and
translating them into IT requirements
 Interact with customer and articulate requirements
 Analyze solution options and recommend the preferred option
 Make presentations to customer and internal stakeholders on the solution
 Create detailed functional specifications as input for our systems analysis and
design teams
 Educate development teams on an application’s business/functional
background, and provide clarity on the application
 Validate that the IT solution meets identified needs
 As a part of consultant engagements, identify areas of additional opportunities
to generate down-stream business, over and beyond the scope of work
defined by the client.
 Undertake research and enable dissemination of knowledge with the account
team
 Provide domain support for large and complex RFIs and RFPs by providing
domain point of view and solutioning, help in estimation etc.
 Constantly look at ways and means to bring more discipline and rigor to the
Business System Analysis function by adopting more structured methodologies
and tools.
 Work with the Domain Consultants/Practice Heads to develop
solutions/frameworks for industry pain-points and developing trends.
 Provide point of view on topical subjects through contribution and authoring of
thought/white papers.

Experience and  MBA with specialization in Finance & Analytics with a background in
skill set required: Engineering is desired
 Pre-MBA work-experience with exposure or industry experience in IT

business analysts. You should coordinate with Project/Program Managers in delivery and
talent decisions. Expected to be part of complex, large scale project or medium complex

TopGear Relationship Executive

 Be the Face of TopGear (crowdsourcing platform) for the Delivery Teams to


 Engage in Crowdsourcing Model
Responsibilities:  Work as a Product Manager for TopGear & coach/support/nudge delivery
 teams for using crowdsourcing
 Prepare and execute short-to-long-term plans by engaging with all
 stakeholders - (Sales, Technical delivery, and Account leadership) across
 identified territories in Wipro’s Delivery
 Drive & own the TopGear target numbers (aka Person month efforts), just like
 Sales Target
 Challenge status-quo to improve on delivery models
 Participate in Bid Cycle to provide TopGear solutions
 Proactively work on Account team’s pain areas to avoid escalation
 Work as Crowdsourcing domain consultant for Delivery Team
 Liase with TopGear COE to build new solutions for the delivery team’s asks

 Broad understanding of technology spectrum


Skills and  Capability to interact with multiple Senior stakeholders and to set expectations
Knowledge  on crowdsourcing delivery model
