Rules and Regulations

1. Acceptance of the Rule
The PUBG Africa Cup is an official competition with its own rules and regulations.

Each participant that registers for this cup, confirms that they have read, understood and accepted
all the rules and regulations stated in this document.

2. Rules and Regulation changes

PUBG Africa reserves the right to remove, modify or change the rules without further notice on any
stage of the tournament to save the sport integrity of the tournament. PUBG Africa also reserves the
right to make decisions on cases not covered by the current rulebook to prevent any breaching of
fair competition and sportsmanship.

3. Participant Regulations
An official participant is a team or player that is participating in the cup. The teams are accountable
for all penalties or rule violations made by its members during the cup.

4. Regional Restrictions
Valid African players are players who are currently living in Africa or who have a valid African
passport. Teams need to mostly consist of African players. Each team is allowed to have 2 players
that are not valid African players, but only 1 of them is allowed to play at a time.

The tournament organiser is allowed to ask for proof from any player that they are living in Africa or
that they have a valid African passport.

5. Priority Points and Penalties

Teams will have a chance to gain priority points while playing in the 3 scrims before the cup. For
each game that the team plays with a valid 4man squad they will receive 2 priority points. For each
game that the team plays with a valid 3man squad they will receive 1 priority point. Teams will also
receive 3, 2 and 1 priority points for placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the scrims.

The top 24 teams with the most priority points will qualify for the cup. If teams are tied in priority
points, the team with the best total score over the scrims will win the tiebreaker.

Teams will also be able to loose points if they get any penalties. On our discord there is a scrim-rules
channel with all the scrim penalties listed. All penalties will be deducted from the team’s priority
points.

We will lock the rosters each time that scrim registrations closes. Each roster change between scrim
days will cost your team to loose 3 priority points.
