1. Acceptance of the Rule
The PUBG Africa Cup is an official competition with its own rules and regulations.
Each participant that registers for this cup, confirms that they have read, understood and accepted
all the rules and regulations stated in this document.
3. Participant Regulations
An official participant is a team or player that is participating in the cup. The teams are accountable
for all penalties or rule violations made by its members during the cup.
4. Regional Restrictions
Valid African players are players who are currently living in Africa or who have a valid African
passport. Teams need to mostly consist of African players. Each team is allowed to have 2 players
that are not valid African players, but only 1 of them is allowed to play at a time.
The tournament organiser is allowed to ask for proof from any player that they are living in Africa or
that they have a valid African passport.
The top 24 teams with the most priority points will qualify for the cup. If teams are tied in priority
points, the team with the best total score over the scrims will win the tiebreaker.
Teams will also be able to loose points if they get any penalties. On our discord there is a scrim-rules
channel with all the scrim penalties listed. All penalties will be deducted from the team’s priority
points.
We will lock the rosters each time that scrim registrations closes. Each roster change between scrim
days will cost your team to loose 3 priority points.
6. Structure
a) Scrims
We will host 3 scrims where teams will be able to gather priority points towards the cup.
b) Group Stage
The top 24 teams according to the priority points will be divided into 3 groups of 8 teams each.
These groups will play an even amount of games against every other group to form a total
leaderboard between all the teams.
c) Finals
The top 16 teams from the group stage will advance to the finals. They will compete in 10 matches
with the SUPER point system.
7. Prizepool
Total prizepool: $300
1st : $150
2nd : $100
3rd : $50
After the final scrim day teams will have 3 days to finalize their teams. Rosters will be locked on
Wednesday 8 June 2022 at 22:00 CAT. We will then finalize the teams that have qualified for the
cup.
9. Rematch rules
Rematches can only be called by the match admin in case of an emergency situation, such as a
mistake in the server settings, server-side issue which caused the drop of all the players, if 10 or
more players didn't load into the match.
10. Tiebreakers
The following tiebreakers will be used to differentiate between two or more teams when they are
tied in points.
If a player changes his PUBG username they have to make sure that they update their name on
discord with the appropriate bot command before the matches start.
If a player has been temporarily banned, the admins need to be provided with proof and the player
will be allowed to play on a different account with approval of the admin.
