Below shows the performance level of grade 4 pupils
in making different styles of tie-dye shirt.
1. Determine the learning outcome and the performance task
to be evaluated.
- Create a their own different tie-dye design.
2. Identify the indicators of the performance task.
- The grade 4 pupils will be able to make a different
design using a different color of tie-dye and present
their finish output in the classroom by wearing it dur-
ing the Arts class.
3. Determine measurable criteria.
Creativity– the pupils demonstrates a unique level of
originality.
Effort– the pupils gave an effort beyond the require-
ment of the output.
Artistry– every aspect of the design looks purposeful
and works to create a single work of art.
Skill– the student showed outstanding in creating a
design.
4. Determine performance benchmarks and point values.

5. Write the performance descriptors for quality work criteria.
Mastered (4)- The students show extraordinary level of
performance by showing their own unique design that
make it easy to tell what is there artwork all about.
Proficient (3)- The students achieve the learning compe-
tencies of the lessons but came up with one idea of design
and not something new and unique.
Beginning (2)- the students did not meet the expectations
of the lesson, they came up with one idea but it wasn't
original.
Struggling (1)- the students experience difficulty in creat-
ing own design, their artwork does not look like it was
done carefully.
