OM GEG CHEN SAM-PA NGÄN TONG DANG


Om! May you, the great obstructors who generate malicious thoughts,

BAR DU CHÖD-PE DON NAM DANG


As well as all those evil forces who cause obstacles, 

NÖD-PAR JED-PE GEG NAM KUN


And all those obstructors that bring harm,

GEG KYI JOR-WA GYÜN CHÖD LA


Through the termination of your obstructing actions, be dispersed.

RANG RANG NE SU DE-WAR DENG


Go away to your own places and dissolve into the state of happiness!

OM DZA-LA DZA-LA TI-TA YA MÄN THOR TSE TRA-MO-HA

OM DAG GI TING-DZIN TOB DANG NI


Om! By the power of our contemplation 
DE-ZHIN NYID KYI TOB CHOG GI
And by the supreme power of Reality,

NYUNG KAR GYAL-PO DI DAG KYANG


and also by these supreme white mustard seeds,

THRO-WÖ CHOG TE GEG LA PA


Supreme among the wrathful deities and valiant heroes to these obstructing forces!

SER GYI DOG TE NGAG KYI DA


Being golden in color and (holding) the arrows of mantras,

DI DAG NGAG TE DRIM-PA YI


By means of having blessed them with mantra and having dispersed them,

GAL TE NÖD-PE GEG YÖD NA


If there remain here any obstructing forces who are harmful,

GEG NAM KUN KYANG ZHI ZHING LAG-PAR JA-O


May all of these obstructing forces become pacified, or else utterly destroyed!

SO OM NYE-LO-YO RU-RU PU-RU PU-RU DZA-LA DZA-LA TI-TA YA MÄN


THOR TSE TRA-MO-HA

The Washing Rite

ZI-JID WANG-DÄN KHYÄD-PAR MÄD JUNG-WE


Your splendor, powerful and excellently marvelous body

KU DOG KAR SAL GANG RIR NYI SHAR DRA


Is brilliant white in color, like a shining glacial mountain in the light of the sun.

BAG-CHAG DRI-ME KYED DU MI NGA TE


And it is in no way to be disturbed by any taints of/or karmic traces.
DAG DANG THA-YE SEM-CHÄN THAM-CHÄD KYI
However, in order to wash myself and all the infinite numbers of sentient beings’

MI TSANG BAG-CHAG DRI-MA TRU-WE CHIR


defilements and impure karmic traces away,

NAM-KHA YANG LE CHU JUNG YE NE MED-PE CHU


Take the water coming forth from the vast expanse of the space, of the primordially non-existent water.

GYA-TSO LING GU YE NE YÖD-PE CHU


The water from the nine islands and the ocean, the primordially existent water.

DÜD-TSI ÖD KAR YÖD MED TSAM KYI CHU


And the water of white milk nectar, the water at the junction of existence and non-existence.

CHU SUM TSANG-MA JAR-WE THRU CHAB DI


And with this water for washing, which combines the above three pure waters,

DER-SHEG KU LA THRU CHAB DI SOL-WE


Having applied this water for washing to the Bodies of the Buddhas,

KU NAM YE NE NAM-PAR DAG-PA ZHIN


Just as their divine forms have been completely pure from the very beginning,

MI NAM BAG-CHAG DRI-MA DAG GYUR-CHIG


So may these persons (here) become completely purified from their defilements and karmic traces!

OM SHUDDHO KU SHUDDHO TSANG SA-LE SANG-NGE SOHA!

The Washing Rite of the Little Daughter

NAMO! NGO-TSAR MÄD DU JUNG-WA YI


NAMO! This marvelous wonders of pure water,
TSHANG-PE TSANG DZE DÜD-TSI TSANG CHU DI
The nectar which is the pure substance for the purification,

DANG-PO YE NE TONG-PA LA
Where, in the beginning, there was only the primordial empty,

GUNG NGÖN THONG-PO BÖN-NYID YANG NA DAL


And it was encompassed within the Dimension of Reality of the high blue space,

THUG-JE TRIN PUNG TÖN-PE KU LA DÜ


But then there were the masses of the clouds of compassion, gathering into the divine form of the
Teacher,

JIN-LAB CHAR-PA DRO-WA YONG LA BAB


Whereupon rainfalls of blessings descended abundantly upon living beings,

CHID SUM DZING-BU LE THRO-CHÄN LA KHYIL


And swirled about in the karmically ripened ponds during the three months of spring,

SA-ZHI KOM-PA DÄD-PA-CHÄN NAM BANG


Moistening the thirsty surface of the dry earth.

YÖN-TÄN DRU CHÜD JIN-PA-CHÄN GYI NGE


Thereby the generously given grains and nectars of virtuous qualities were ripened.

DE-TAR TSANG-PE TSANG DZE DÜD-TSI TSANG CHU DI


In the same way, with this pure water of amrita, the pure substance of the Brahmas,

DENG GI ZHÄL-YE NE CHOG TU


Today, in this supreme place, which is an immeasurable (celestial palace),

GYU-JOR YON-DAG SHEN CHED DANG


We Shen brothers and sisters and our patrons, 

CHÖD JIN DZE SU NGÖ-PA NAM


And the substances dedicated as offerings,
KHOR WA GYÜN GYI SA YIN PE
Because they are in the stream of Samsara,

MI TSANG DUG DANG DRI-ME GÖ


they are stained by defilements, poisons, and impurities,

DER-SHEG LHA SHEN NAM KYI CHYÄN-LAM DU


In the presence of the Sugatas, the Gods, and the Shen,

SHIN TU MI NGA RAB TU MI DZE-PE


Because these things are not very beautiful and do not possess much (quality),

TSANG-ME TSÄN GYI TAB-PE DAG GYUR-CHIG!


By the pouring out of these pure libations, may they become pure!

Mantra Recitation
SO DU TRÖ BAR KHYAB DAL A RAM LAM! (x4)

Confession of Sins
TSE-RAB GONG NE DAK SOG SEM-CHÄN GYI
From previous lifetimes, as for sentient beings such as ourselves,

MI GE DIG-PE LE NAM CHI GYI-PA


Whatever deeds that are sinful and non-virtuous that we have committed,

GYI DANG CHOL DANG KUL DANG YID-RANG PHUL


Whether committed by ourselves, or charged, or entreated, or offered rejoicing at them,

SAM DANG ME DANG NGÖ SU JOR-WA DANG


Whether having thought of them, spoken of them, or actually joined in them,
ZIN DANG MA ZIN CHED DU CHYÖD-PA DANG
Whether done on purpose, whether done conscious or non-conscious,

THRA DANG RAG DANG NYE JE CHYOG THUN DANG


Whether subtle or coarse, or just agreeing with them on the side of committing offenses,

DE-ZHIN JE DANG JED-PAR GYUR-PA KUN


Accordingly, everything we have done or will come to do,

CHUNG-ZÄD TSAM YANG MA JED DRÄN JE TE


Even if just a little, whether committed to memory or not remembered,

KUN GYI DIG DRIB LO YI DÜ JE NE


Having condensed them in our minds, all of these sins and obscurations,

YUL CHOG DAM-PA NAM KYI CHYÄN-NGA RU


In the presence of the Holy Supreme Objects,

NONG GYÖD ZHUM-PE SEM KYI RAB TU SHAG


With thoughts of shame, regret, and dismay, we intensely confess them.

MI GE LE DRIB GYUN DU PANG NE KYANG


Moreover, having continuously renounced our obscurations and our non-virtuous deeds,

GE-WA KUN GYI JE SU DRANG-WAR GYI-O


(Henceforth) we shall endeavor to follow everything that is virtuous!

Generating the Bodhichitta

JI TAR GYAL-WA PHAG-PA JI-ZHIN DU


In the same way, just as did all the Victorious Ones and the Exalted Ones,

DI SOG DÜ SUM GE-WE THU PAL GYI


By means of the abundant power of our merit of the three times such as this (at present),
SEM-CHÄN SANG-GYE THOB-PAR JA-WE CHIR
In order to come to attain Buddhahood for all, sentient beings,

DAG NI JANG-CHUB CHOG TU SEM-KYED DO


We shall produce the thought of supreme enlightenment!

Going to Refuge

SHEN-RAB LA-MA KU SUM JUNG-NE PAL


As for the Shenrabpa Lamas, the glorious sources of the Three Jewels,

DÜ SUM DER-SHEG DRO-WA YONG KYI GÖN


The Sugatas of the three times, the protectors of the vast numbers of living beings,

KU-ZUG ZHAL-KYIN KU-DUNG SUNG-RAB TEN


The images and pictures, chaityas and scriptures which are the supports,

CHYOG CHUI SHEN-RAB THAR LAM TÖN-PE DRÖN


And those lamps upon the path to liberation, the Shenrabpas of the ten directions,

NE ZHIR CHYAG-TSAL DRO KUN KYAB SU CHI


To these four Sources (of Refuge), we and all beings do homage and go for refuge!

Mandala Offering

OM NAMA A KAR SHA YA NI SHAG SA-LE SANG-NGE YE SOHA!


[This establishes the base for the mandala.]

DRUM RI-TI GAR-MA LA HO!


[This establishes the central mountain, Meru]

A YAM RAM MAM KHAM DRUM SHAG SA-LE SANG-NGE YE SOHA!


[This establishes the four great continents and the eight lesser continents.]
OM CHYÖD PHUR SA-LE HA-LO SENG!
[This establishes the sun, moon, and auspicious symbols.]

E-MA-HO!

NGO-TSAR MÄD-JUNG ZHING-KHAM RAB-JAM NÄ


In the infinite numbers of realms, wondrous and marvelous,

DZE DUG TRA SAL RIN-CHEN DRANG-MAR PUNG


Where jewels that are beautiful agreeable, radiant, and clear, are heaped up like pebbles,

RI-RAB RI DÜN ROL-TSO LING LA SOG


Where there are Meru, the seven (golden) mountains, the continents, and so on,

PAG-SAM NYI DA SAM PHEL NOR-BU DANG


The wish-granting tree, the sun and moon, the gem that increases whatever one may think,

TASHI DZE GYÄD RIN-CHEN NOR DÜN DANG


The eight auspicious substances, the seven precious jewels (of royalty),

MAR-ME ME-TOG TSÄN PÖ LHA-SANG DANG


Butter lamps, flowers, libations, incense, divine food, 

SER YU ZANG CHAG MÄN-SHEL MU-TIG DANG


Gold, turquoise, copper, iron, crystal glass, pearls.

KAR MAR CHYÄN-ZIG LO-TOG DRU CHÜD DANG


Visible offerings both white and red, crops, grains, nectars,

LHAB-LHUB DAR-CHYANG YID-WONG CHÖD-PE DZE


Rich ornamentations, silk hangings, beautiful puja substances,

DZE-PE ZUG DANG DRA NYÄN ZHIM-PE DRI


Beautiful forms, pleasant sounds, aromatic odors,

DA-WE RO CHOG JAM THRIL THÜN-PE DZE


Delicious supreme tastes, and substances that are agreeably smooth and easily attached,
DAK GI JOR DANG THONG THÖ SHAM-PA DANG
All the wealth that may be seen and heard, we prepare,

YID LE TRUL DANG LO YI DÜ-PA DANG


Whether emanated by mind or gathered by our thoughts,

SOG LÜ GYÄN DANG LONG-CHYÖD WANG- THANG SOG


Such as life-force, bodily ornaments, enjoyments, power, and so on,

NAM-KHA KHYAB-PE JIG-TEN CHÖD DZE NAM


All of these puja substances of the world that pervade the sky,

LA-MA SANG-GYE SE CHE BÖN LA BUL


We offer to the Gurus and to the Buddhas, together with their spiritual sons, as well as to the Dharma.

DAG SOG DRO-WE DÖN DU ZHE-NE KYANG


Moreover, having accepted them for the benefit of living beings such as ourselves,

DÜ NAM KUN TU GONG SHING ZIG SU SÖL


We pray that you heed and look upon all of us in these (difficult) times!

NYONG TOG YID-CHE DRUB-PA NYEM-PA DANG


And confidently realizing experiences, understanding, and belief,

RANG-RIG YE-SHE CHAR-WAR DZÄD DU SOL


We pray to you to bring about within us, the arising of the primal cognitions of self-awareness!

GYAL DANG DEI SE TÄN-PE TSA LAG NAM


To the Victorious Ones and their spiritual sons who teach both root and branch,

YÜN NE GYÜN DU ZHUG-PAR SOL-WA DEB


We pray you to be seated here continuously in both time and place!

GE TSOG DRUB DANG KUL DANG DÜN-PA KYED


Protecting the hosts of our virtues, we produce entreaties and feelings of longing for you.
SÖD TSOG KUN LA DAG KYANG JE YI-RANG
Moreover, we rejoice at all the accumulated masses of merit (by others).

TÖN-PE TÄN-PA THRUL-NGAG RIN-PO-CHE


As for the precious magical voice of the teaching of the Teacher,

CHYOG CHU KUN TU DAR ZHING GYE GYUR- CHIG


May it come to increase and spread in all the ten directions!

TSE-RAB KUN TU SEM-PE CHYÖD TSUL-DÄN


Possessing the methods of the conduct of the Bodhisattvas in all our future lifetimes,

GE-WE DED-PÖN CHEN-POR DAG GYUR-CHIG


May we become great captains of virtue!

THAR NI KUN GYI GÖN KYAB RE NE DANG


Finally, may we become protectors of everyone and sources of refuge for each of them!

KYOB-PE DAG-NYID CHEN-POR NYUR THOB SHOG


May we quickly obtain that totality of being which is our true refuge!

KHYEN DANG TSE DANG THAB DANG THUG-JE YI


With compassion and skillful means, as well as discriminating wisdom and love.

KYO NGAL MED-PAR DRO-WE DON JED SHOG


May we become the causes of benefit for living beings without either regret or weariness!

DE LE JUNG-WE GE TSOG CHI CHI-PA


Whatever accumulations of merit which may come from that

DE-ZHIN NYID KU THOB CHIR DE-NYID NGO


We dedicate them in order to obtain the Body of Reality!

MI LÜ NGE-PE DRE CHOG NYUR THOB SHOG


May we come to obtain quickly the supreme fruit that is certain and without deception!
OM A DA-DA DE-DE CHYÖD CHYÖD SA-LE HA-LO SENG!

 Prayer to the Lineage Gurus

E-MA-HO!

KU SUM SANG-GYE THAM-CHÄD JUNG-WE GYÜD


Because they are the mind-streams from which originate all the Buddhas of the Trikaya,

LA-MA DAM-PA NAM LA SOL-WA DEB


We pray to these Holy Gurus!

THUG-JE PHUL CHIN WANG THRID LAG-LEN TER


Because they represent the perfection of compassion by bestowing empowerments, explanations, and
practices, 

DRIN-CHÄN LA-MA NAM LA SOL-WA DEB


We pray to those benevolent Gurus!

KHOR-WE THRANG DROL THAR-PE KE LAM DZUG


Because they liberate us from the narrow passages of Samsara and set us on the path and the stairway
to liberation,

DREN-PE LA-MA NAM LA SOL WA DEB


We pray to these Gurus giving us guidance!

GONG-ME GYÜD DZIN WOG-ME LAM NA-DREN


Because they hold the earlier transmissions and later guide us along the path,

GYÜD-PE LA-MA NAM LA SOL-WA DEB


We pray to these Gurus of the Lineage!

KHYEN-PE ÖD KYI KHOR-WE RANG GYUD SHIG


Because they destroy the inherent current of Samsara with the light of their knowledge,
GYÜD DROL LA-MA NAM LA SOL-WA DEB
We pray to these Gurus who liberated our mind-streams!

ZAB-MÖ DAM-PE THRUL-WE PHUG-THAG CHÖD


Because they make us definitively decide upon the source of delusion by means of their profound
instructions,

TSA-WE LA-MA NAM LA SOL-WA DEB


We pray to these Root Gurus!

KHYEN DANG TSE-WE DRO LA BU ZHIN KYOB


Because they give refuge to all living beings with their wisdom and love as if they were their own
children, 

CHYOG CHU SANG-GYE NAM LA SOL-WA DEB


We pray to these Buddhas of the ten directions!

THAB DANG THUG-JE NA-TSOG KUN TU TRUG


Because they emanate everywhere as diverse (appearances) by way of their compassion and means,

CHI NANG LHA TSOG NAM LA SOL-WA DEB


We pray to these hosts of deities both outer and inner!

SA DANG LAM LA TOG-PE YE-SHE GYE


Because they increase the primal knowledge which understands the stages and paths.

RIG-DZIN SEM-PE TSOG LA SOL-WA DEB


We pray to the hosts of Vidyadhara Bodhisattvas!

THAB DANG JIN-LOB WANG DANG NGÖ-DRUB TER


Because they bestow empowerments and siddhis with their magic and blessings,

MA SING KHAN-DRÖ TSOG LA SOL-WA DEB


We pray to these hosts of Dakinis, both mothers and daughters!

CHI DANG NANG GI BAR-CHÄD THA-DAG SEL


Because they cleanse infinite numbers of obstructions which are both outer and inner,
DAM-CHÄN SUNG-ME TSOG LA SOL-WA DEB
We pray to the hosts of oath-bound Guardians!

MA TOG KHOR-WE ZUNG DZIN DROL NE KYANG


Moreover, having liberated the subjects and objects of Samsara arising from not understanding.

RANG RIG YE SHE CHAR WAR JIN GYI LOB


Bless me that the wisdom of self-awareness arises in.

[Thereby the stages of the preliminary practices are completed.]

A OMe HUM / Ah A KAR SA-LE ÖD A YANG OM DU!

A NE-LUG THA-DRAL MA THOG-PE SEM-CHÄN THAM-CHÄD KHOR-WA


LA KHYAM SHING

DUG-NGAL LA CHYÖD-PA DI NAM NYING-RE JE!


Aa, all the sentient beings, who do not realize the Natural State that is without (conceptual and
dualistic) limitations, continue to wander in Samsara and conduct themselves in suffering
Oh, compassion for them!

DUG-NGAL DANG DRAL-WAR GYUR CHIG


May they all become freed from their suffering! 

DE-WA DANG DÄN-PAR GYUR CHIG


May they come to possess happiness!

DE-WA DE DANG GYÜN DU MI DRAL-WAR GYUR CHIG


May they never be separated from that happiness!

CHAG DANG GI NYÖN-MONG-PA DANG DRAL- WAR GYUR CHIG


And may they come to be free from the defilements of greed and anger!

A KAR DAG GI THUG LE A KAR-PO CHIG DUN GYI BAR-NANG LA THRÖ


When sounding “Ah-KAR!”, from (the single white letter A) within my own heart center, there
emanates (a second) single letter A into the atmosphere in front of me.

SA-LE ÖD A DE LE ÖD-ZER PHAR THRÖ


(Sounding) “SA-LE ÖD!”, from that (second) letter A, the rays of light emanate everywhere beyond
myself.

NÖD CHÜD LA PHOG-PE CHI NÖD THAM-CHÄD LHA YI ZHALYE KHANG


Because these rays strike the entire vessel (of the universe) and its contents (the living beings it
contains), all of this external world-vessel is transformed into an immeasurable celestial palace

NANG CHÜD THAM-CHÄD LHA DANG LHA-MÖ RANG-ZHIN DU GYUR


And all of its internal contents (which are its inhabitants) are transformed into gods and goddesses.
A YANG OM DU!
(Saying) A YANG OM DU,

ÖD ZER NAM TSUR DÜ A LA THIM


These rays of light are drawn hither and absorbed into the letter A,

A YE-SHE NGA-DÄN GYI OM CHIG TU GYUR


Whereupon the letter A becomes a single syllable OM, possessing (the nature of) the Five Wisdoms.

OM DAG GI THUG-KAR DÜ-PE


Because this syllable OM is drawn down into my own heart center,

DAG GYÜD KYI DUG NGA DÜ NGA CHOM NE


Having vanquished thereby the five poisons and the five demons of my own mind-stream,

KU NGA YE-SHE NGA YI RANG-ZHIN DU GYUR


It becomes as the nature of the Five Bodies and the Five Wisdoms

A MU-YE A KAR A NI A!

DAG GI THUG-KE OM LE ÖD ZER YAR THRÖ


From my own heart center, the rays of light emanate upwards,

MI NGÖN-PE YING NE A KAR-PO CHIG CHYÄN- DRANG


And from the dimension of un-manifested space, a single white letter A is invoked,

DÜN GYI MIN-TSAM THÄD-KAR SAL-WAR GYUR


Becoming clearly visible in front of my eyebrows.
E HA-HE LO NGA TI PANG YE DU!

A ÖD DU ZHU-WA LE YI-DAM GYI LHA SHEN-LHA ÖD-KAR KU RU SAL-


WAR GYUR
From the melting of this letter A into light, the divine form of the Yidam Deity Shenlha Ödkar becomes
clearly visible.

YI GE A LE SHENLA ÖD-KAR GYI KU RU SALWA DE / DUN GYI BAR-NANG


LA ZHUG-PAR SAM
Imagine that the body of Shenlha Ödkar that has manifested from the letter A, stays in the atmosphere
in front of you.

OM A KAR SA LE ÖD,

CHE-PE THUG-KE OM LE ÖD ZER PHAR THRÖ SEM-CHÄN GYI DRIB-PA


JANG
The rays of light emanate beyond from the syllable OM in my heart center, all the obscurations of
sentient beings are thereby purified!

E HA-HE CHYÖD PHUR SA-LE HA-LO SENG!


Saying E HA-HE CHYÖD PHUR SA-LE HA-LO SENG!

OM ÖD DU ZHU-WA LE DAM-TSIG GI LHA TSÖN GANG-WA YE-SHE KYI


RANG-ZHIN DU GYUR
From its melting into light, the OM becomes thumb- sized (miniature) Samaya Deity with the nature of
Wisdom.

YI GE OM LE DAM CHIG GI LHA TSÖN-GANG WA THUG-KHAR SAL WAR


GYUR
From the letter OM the Samaya-deity in the size of a thumb, is imagined clearly in my heart.

HUM NYE LO YO YI-GE SANG NI RAM

YI-DAM GYI LHA ÖD DU ZHU NE YI-GE HUM CHIG TU GYUR


The Yidam Deity having melted into light, it becomes a single letter HUM.
MU MAR HRO MAR THRO!

TSHANG-BUG NE MAR JÖN NE DAM-TSIG GI LHA DANG NYI SU MED-


PAR GYUR PA LA
Having come downward through the aperture of Brahma, it becomes non-dual with the Samaya Deity,

DAG-NYID LE KYI LHA SHEN THANG-MA ÖD- GYAL KYI KU-RU SAL-
WAR SAM
Whereupon myself is imagined to have transformed into the action deity, Shen Thangma Odgyal.

HUM LE YUNG-DRUNG TSE YI GYAL-PO CHÖD TOR GYI LE THAR-CHIN-


PE DAG-POR SHEG-PAR SAM
And we think that from the syllable HUM, there comes forth Yungdrung Tseyi Gyalpo who is the actual
owner (and agent) of the ultimate action of the puja offering.

RAM A MAR MO JI CHEM!

MI NGÖN-PE YING NE OM YE-SHE NGA-DÄN RAM GYI ÖD ZER THRÖ-PA


CHIG DAG GI CHI-WOR THIM
From the dimension that is un-manifested, the syllable OM, possessing the Five Wisdoms, emanates
rays of light invoking a single syllable RAM and this is absorbed into the crowns of our heads:

MU-YE HA-RA TI-TA YE DU!

RANG ZHÄN THAM-CHÄD DE-WAR SHEG-PE CHYÖD-PA LA WANG-WAR


GYUR
Everyone here, myself and others, become thereby empowered in the conduct of the Buddhas.

RAM LE YUNG-DRUNG YE-WANG GYAL-PÖ DAG DANG THA-YE-PE SEM-


CHÄN THAM-CHÄD LA WANG CHIN NE

From the syllable A, arises the (white) space mandala.

From the syllable YAM, arises the (green) air mandala.

RAM LE MEI KYIL-KHOR


From the syllable RAM, arises the (red) fire mandala.

MAM LE CHU YI KYIL-KHOR


From the syllable MAM, arises the (blue) water mandala.

KHAM LE SER GYI SA-ZHI


From the syllable KHAM, arises the golden foundation of the earth,

DRUM LE ZHAL-YE KHANG


And from the syllable DRUM, arises an immeasurable celestial palace,

LHAI PHO-DRANG CHEN-PO


Which is the great mansion for all the Deities.

GYU RIN-PO-CHE NA-TSOG LE DRUB-PA


The material cause is, its being made from various kinds of precious jewels.

YIB KUN TU DRU ZHIR NE-PA


In its shape, everywhere it is established as square.

TENG NAM-KHA YU DOG LA NYI DA ZA KAR GYI GYÄN-PA


Above it is the sky of turquoise color, adorned with the sun, moon, planets, and stars.
WOG SER GYI SA-ZHI DUL MED DU NANG-WA
Below it appears the golden surface of the earth without any dust.

THING GUR NAM-KHAI YA-GÄD DANG DÄN-PA


And it possesses a flight of steps rising into the sky (resembling) an azure pavilion (on its Roof).

There are decorations of jewels and banners which are rainbows flying outward (in the wind).

Above the middle turret made of crystal, soars the Garuda, the king of birds.

And the doorframes are adorned with crystal lions with little tinkling bells of turquoise.

On the outside borders, there are flowers and groves of trees of paradise.

At its edges, it is surmounted by walls with swastika designs.

In the middle of this immaculate, beautiful, and delightful place, there are thousands of lotus blossoms
possessing multitudes of corollas.

TSOG DANG DÄN-PA ZHIG TU GYUR
(And as symbols) in the east there are swastikas, in the north wheels, in the west lotuses, and in the
south jewels.

The Great Mother Sa-trig Er-sang, as well as the thirty- two Mothers,

Her three hundred and sixty Wisdom-daughters

The four gate-keepers who are magical apparitions

ZHÄN YANG GYAL-WA SÄ DANG CHÄ-PA NAM KYI KOR-WA


Surrounded by others also, together with the Jinaputras (Bodhisattvas).

At the outer border of this, there are the Guests possessing Virtuous Qualities,

KA-KYONG BÖN-KYONG NOR-LHA PAL-GÖN DANG CHE-PA NAM KYI


KOR-WA
Such as the Protectors of the Precepts, the Bön Protectors, the wealth deities, together with the Palgön
protectors (cosmic deities) surrounding them.

At the outer border of that, there are the Guests inflicting Karmic Retributions,

KA YI LHA MA SIN DE-GYÄ KYI KOR-WA


Such as the gods and demons under command, surrounded by the eight classes of spirits.

And at the outermost border, there are the Guests of our Compassion;

Such as the sentient beings of the six realms surrounding them, together with (the hosts of) Bardo
beings.

All of the obscurations, defilements, and pollutants, which are impure that afflict the offering
substances, become purified!

TSANG-WA THAM-CHÄD DAG PAR GYUR
Again, because there descend the rivers (of the waters) of wisdom from my heart center, all of the
impurities of the offering substances become purified!

Again, because innumerable different kinds of rays of light emanate from my heart center,

Both the container and its contents of these offering substances become cleansed and purified,
becoming clearly visible like highly polished silver, beautiful and immaculate!

As for the nine portions of the water offering, these are visualized to be nine (sets of solar system
consisting), the four great continents with the Meru mountain made of precious jewels (at the center).
Each is adorned with the sun and moon as a pair, and they are surrounded by innumerable lesser
islands.

In the middle of that, there are flowers of gold and precious things, and wish granting gems,

As well as supreme tastes of many delicious flavors, substances of many beautiful appearances,

Music of many attractions, sounds for very pleasant listening,

ZHIM GUI DRI DANG LHA-I NA-ZA DAR CHYANG DANG


Smells of many aromatic scents, together with divine clothing and silken hangings.

DRO GYOG TOB CHEN TA NA DUG-PA LA SOG-PE GANG-WAR GONG TE


And imagine (that it is) filled with beautiful and attractive things such as horses, elephants.

We imagine that there is (an abundance) of joyful and pleasant enjoyments on the side of
delightfulness,

Fulfilling all the desires of each of the kinds of our guests individually.

The four great continents, the eight lesser continents,

The sun of gold and the moon of conch, the seven precious gems,

TASHI DZE GYÄD / DUG GUI ROL-MO


The eight auspicious substances, many attractive and pleasant sounds and melodies ,

JA
Sights of many beauties, sounds of many pleasures, smells of many aromatic scents, tastes of many
delicious flavors, textures of many smooth qualities,

CHANG SHE KYI TA / DÖD JÖ BA MA MÖ-PE LO-TOG LA SOG


The well-bred horse, the wish-granting cow, the grain growing without cultivation, and so on, (from
these there are extracted).
DWANG-MA CHÖD BUL GYI LHA-MO
The essences that become the goddesses who offer the puja,

KHU-WA DÜD-TSI NGO WO


The juices that become the essences of amrita nectars,

TSIK MA DÖPE YÖNTEN SAM GYI MI KHYAP PAR GYUR NE


The substances/residues that become inconceivable desirable qualities pleasing the senses,

DANG ME GYALWA CHÖPE NYE


The essence satisfies the victorious ones, 

KHUWE DAMCHEN THUKDAM KANG


The juices that fulfill the wishes of the protectors,

TSIG-ME LHA SIN DUG TSUB ZHI ZHING


And the substances, residues that pacify the afflictions and troubles caused by the gods and demons,

RI DRUG JIN-PE TSIM-PAR GYUR


And by virtue of this generosity, may all the beings of the six realms become satisfied!

As well as flowers, hollyhocks, and corollas of lotus blossoms,

Together with treasures of precious jewels, are emanated, prepared, and become completely filled.

Because all this is well-offered with supreme one-pointed faith,

And having remained in the non-dual state of compassion,

And with the contemplation in devotion of infinite numbers of sentient beings,

Abiding here in Samsara due to the power of our past karma,

Continuously undergo rebirth and death while we possess a material form of flesh.

JI NYED SAG-PE BAG-CHAG MÜN-PA DRA


These karmic traces, however many may be accumulated, are similar to a dense darkness.

The masses of darkness of duality and obscuration are without any clarity.

From the very limits of time, from the very beginning when nothing existed,

DA-TA DÜ DIR KYE-PA PHÄN-CHÄD DU


Up until our rebirths at the present time,

DIG-PA MI GEI LE NAM CHI GYI-PA


Whatever actions sinful and non-virtuous that we may have committed,

DER-SHEG KHYED LA MI CHAB THOL-LO SHAG


We now confess to you Sugatas and atone for them without concealing anything.

MI GEI LE NAM CHI GYI DRIB-PA NI


Whatever actions of non-virtue we may have committed and whatever obscurations,
KHYED KYI THUG-JE KUN KYANG JANG-WAR DZÖD
May all of them be purified due to your compassion!

Nevertheless, there are many enumerations of hundreds of millions of Emanations.

However, (they) have not wavered from the great bliss of Ultimate Truth.

Therefore, they transcend thoughts, words, and speech and are inexpressible.

Even though they do not move from the unchanging Swastika Dimension (the Dharmadhatu),

These Emanations come here swiftly and quickly in an instant.

Have prepared the ornaments (of our minds) as cloud like unsurpassed offerings.

NAM-DAG MU-TIG RIN-CHEN SER DANG YU


Here there are completely pure pearls, jewels, gold and turquoise,
DUNG DANG MEN-SHEL JI-RU ZANG DANG CHAG
Conch, natural glass, coral, copper and iron.

LA-WA DRI ZANG ME-TOG TSHÄN DANG PÖ


Musk, flowers, libations, incense,

MÄN NGA PÖ NGA DRU NGA NYING-PO NGA


The five medicines, the five kinds of incense, the five grains, the five essences,

The three white things, the three sweet things, harvested crops, grains, medicines,

Cylindrical brocade banners emanated to pervade everywhere in the mountains and valleys,

The sounds of cymbals and various kinds of music,

WAL-DAR GYAL-TSHÄN BA-DÄN LHAB-LHUB DANG


Rich ornamentations such as ensigns and victory banners and triangular silken flags,

ZUG DANG DRA DANG DRI DANG RO DANG REG


(Pleasant) sights, sounds, odors, tastes, and touches,

JI TAR THUN CHING YID-WONG NYAM GA-WAR


Being harmonious in whatever manner, beautiful and pleasant.

JIN GYI LAB-PE CHÖD YÖN DI BUL-WE


Because of presenting this enumeration of blessed offerings,

DÜD-TSI CHU-WO BAB-PE GYÜN ZHIN DU


Just like the continuous descent of a river of amrita nectar,

CHÖD-PE GYUN KYANG YONG SU MI CHÄD CHING


This extensive and continuous stream of offerings does not cease.

In your palace of this unsurpassed offerings,

The seventy Palgön protectors, together with their retinues.

Experience karmic retribution for destroying castles in high, robbing villages at low,

Retribution for killing men and horses; retribution of life span for numerous murders committed in
previous lives,

DUNG DUNG WA NA TSAI LEN CHAK / THROK THROK PA GYU ZE NOR

Retribution of illness for beating again and again and retributions of wealth and possessions for having
stolen over and over.

To avert the imminent retribution, to settle those karmic debts which have not been settled,

With small mouths and deficient faculties, may it become rainfall of nectar.

In periods of epidemics, firstly, may this water be the remedy and ointment!

In epochs of famine, secondly, may it be the nourishment and drink!

Let them depart to their own places individually, like a market crowd disperses!

Let them depart to engage in the actions of guarding the teachings.

As for these Wisdom Beings, having ultimately arrived at the benefit of beings,

Let them depart into the un-manifested Dimension!

And as for these retinues who are the Symbolic Beings, having melted into light, let them be absorbed
into the principal deity!
