Good day, our chosen topic is entitled art as a communication of emotion.

So According to Leo Tolstoy a Russian writer who is regarded as one of the

greatest authors of all time. Art plays a huge role in communication to its
audience's emotions that the artist previously experienced.

And sometimes simply stating what you’re experiencing isn’t enough.

In order for our emotions to move through we can expressed it through an

artwork by showing our creativity and expressing what we feel. Expressing
emotion though art is working directly with our inner feelings.

Emotions also enable us to embrace life with honesty, creativity, and enthusiasm.
Feelings enliven us, giving color and texture to our experiences. To feel the full
range of emotions is like painting with a complete palette of colors.

Besides that, art is a way of our soul to show itself. It makes it easier for us to
picture things and feel our emotions in a more vivid and appealing way.
Whatever we're feeling these days, it can be a lot to carry but expressing emotion
through art is an incredible way to release those feelings before they get too
deep and begin to create other problems.

Although getting started can be the toughest part. But You don’t need to create
an original masterpiece. You’re just finding a way to let emotions flow. By
creating what’s on your mind, expressing it through the art.

Art as a means of communication

is the expression of inner filling, idea thought about something or from
the environment. I have here, Edvard Munch’s famous painting, The
Scream, which gives some idea of the emotional expressionist
technique.

Art is something we do, a verb. Art is an expression of our thoughts,

emotions, intuitions, and desires, but it is even more personal than that:
it's about sharing the way we experience the world, which for many is
an extension of personality.

Art can promote specific political viewpoints. Artists have made

drawings, paintings, sculptures and many other art objects to challenge
assumptions, to support causes, and to explore deep personal
questions. And throughout history, art has been used for many
purposes, including reinforcing religious doctrine or linking religious
and political power

Artist can inspire all kinds of different emotions through their artworks. They do
things to make us feel how they are feeling.

An example of this is Francis Bacon's work entitled Triptych in Memory of George

Dyer. His artwork is filled with raw pain from agony and heartbreak. In his
paintings, people wail and contort as emotions flow through them, and the pain is
shown through the way their bodies move. He made some of his most powerful
paintings in response to the death of his longtime partner, George Dyer, in 1971.

Another Example of an artwork expressing emotions is the artwork of Pablo

Picasso entitled a weeping woman. In this portrait he uses shapes and color to
make us think of different emotions. How is the woman feeling what clues can we
infer with and through the shapes and color he uses such as her eyes, her green
skin , pointy nose. Each element of the artwork contributes to the overall
sensation of what the artist was attempting to achieve and how we are made to
feel.

Over all, The majority of people's reactions to art are much more complex than
simply feeling joyful or anxious. In order to connect with a painting, drawing,
sculpture, or installation, we must first understand what is it that we are
connecting with on an emotional level.

Because there could be a lot of different emotions going on at the same time.
And it could happen when a piece of art shows both complexity and skill.
Although It takes time to learn how to express these hidden emotions through art.
It's part of the process. Many times, individuals will not understand what you are
attempting to convey. And to genuinely connect art and emotion is to start on an
exciting journey that began centuries ago.
