Teaching methods applied and other contributions

1. Innovative ways and means employed to improvise on teaching techniques. Holding


several interactive sessions in the class, and giving home assignments
2. Delivering lectures on the topic with complete background of the writer and the period
giving notes and bibliography on the topic to be taught
3. Regularly encouraging seminar on topics along with queries from the students to enhance
feedback from the students in relation to the topic
4. Giving prior notice of the topic, so as to enable the students to make a preliminary
preparation and have a basic understanding of the topic
5. Engaging students in seminars, presentations, group discussions, and plenary sessions in
classrooms on topics assigned from time to time
6. Use of audio visual aids esp. use of blackboard, power point presentations and videos
7. Student evaluation sheets regularly given to have feedback on improvisations.
