SCIENCE MONTH
CONCEPT PAPER

I. ACTIVITY TITLE: Amazing Race

II. THEME: Restoration of Ecosystem in the New Normal

III. IN-CHARGE: Earth Savers Club

IV. BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE:

Every September is National Science Month. The event is centered on team-building activities that help cultivate students’
academic abilities while having fun. This is focused on bringing back the events that are usually held during the month of
September. During the two years of being unable to socialize nor participate in any physical activities, the Earth Savers
Club presents an enjoyable event and a fun learning experience for everyone. Due to the pandemic, students spent the
majority of their time at home, thus the event seeks to provide aid to those who had a hard time with science or to those
who love to learn more about it. This event also seeks to motivate students to trust, socialize and have fun while learning.
V. OBJECTIVES

1. Encourage students to know more about science, particularly learning about the ways how to restore our
planet to its old glory.
2. To find a way to connect the importance of restoration of our ecosystem to students through team-building
activities.
3. To provide students with a healthy learning environment for everyone to enjoy.
