The honorable our headmaster, our teachers thank you for being here to see us from The
eleventh Grade of science 1.

We’ll run our English Day for this mrning. We wish you can take some lessons from our
performances. To start, let’s give a big applause.
ENGLISH DAY MATERIAL XI MIA 1
Situation :
On Wednesday afternoon, Rita is studying in her living room and listening to music as well. She wants
to finish her homework that is English Language. While She’s doing it, she sings slowly. Suddenly,
someone knocks at the door and she stands up and walks toward the door then she opens it. She is
happy because four of her friends, Tina, Wiwid, Tomy and Farah come to meet her. Then, she lets
them come in.
Rita : Come in, please. I’m glad to see you everyone. How are you? Thank you for coming,
anyway. Sit down, please. I keep waiting for you and thought you forget our promise to discuss
about the project.
Tina : We glad to meet you, too. We are fine as you see. We are very sorry coming late.
Rita : No problem.
Wiwid : Where are your parents? I don’t see them here. Are they working?
Rita : Yes, they are working. They will be home at 8 p.m. Everyday.
Wiwid : I see. They are very busy I think.
Tomy : What do your parents do for living? I’m coriuos.
Farah : Her mother works in a bank and her father work as a manager in a hotel.
Tomy : How do you know? Seems you know them very well.
Farah : You are right. I know her parents a lot. Because my mother is her mom’a best friend.
Rita : Farah is correct. Any way, let’s start our discussion about the project. It’s a little bit difficult
to be solved. So, I think everyone can give some ideas then we make our decision.
They start discussing. They give their ideas how to finish the project. They are very serous. Then Rita
offers them some drink.
Rita : What would you like to drink, tea or soft drink. You look so tired.
Tomy : It’s up to you, Rit.
Rita : Fine, Just a minute
Then they continue the discussion while Rita prepares the tea in the kitchen. After some times
later .....
Rita : Stop the discussion, please! Here it is.

Farah, Tommy, Wiwid, Tina : Thank you, Rid.
Tina : You ate very kind. It is fine. So fresh.
Rita : Anytime, my friends.
After drinking, the continue their discussion until it has finished.

Tommy : Thank you God. Finally, it has finished. Let’s claps our hands for us for our discussion.
Tina : We gave our best for it. Hopefully, the teacher will be happy to see it and will give good
score.
Farah : I wish it will happen.
Wiwid : Yup. Ok, I will type it at home and will give it tomorrow.
Tommy : Great.
Rita : To celebrate our happiness, let’s make Fruits Salad before everyone goes home.
Wiwid : Do you know how to make it?
Farah : I never taste it. Let’s do! Don’t waste time.
Tommy : Do you need some help?
Rita : Sure. Let’s go to the kitchen.
They move to the kitchen and prepare the things needed.
Rita : This is the steps how to make it, Pay attention, Ok! I hope you can make yourself at home.
All : Sure.

Farah : It tastes really fresh. I love it.

Some times later, Rita’s friendss want to come back home.
Tommy : Everyone, thank you for doing our discussion. We hope, we will get good score. It’s time to
go home.
Farah : Thank you, Rit for the drink and the Fruits Salad as well.
Wiwid : Our best regard for your parents.
Rita : Ok. I’ll see you tomoorow at school.
Rita;s friends : Good bye, Rita.
Rita : Bye....
After her friends leave her, Rita closes the door and goes to her bedroom.
