According to IvyPanda, (2022), the challenges of online learning can impact children

to a great extent. Loss of motivation, self-discipline and the need to study are some of
the biggest problems children face. Impacts include the lack of efficiency of technology,
the difficulty for pupils to understand the concepts taught, and online learning causes
social isolation and results in pupils not developing the necessary communication skills.
Factors that determine how well a pupil's education performs in online learning include
individual learning styles, learning environments, and the level of parental involvement.
Online learning is one of the new innovative study methods that have been introduced
in the pedagogy field. In the last few years, there has been a great shift in training
methods. students can now learn remotely using the internet and computers. Online
learning comes in many forms and has been developing with the introduction of new
technologies. Most universities, high schools, and other institutions in the world have all
instituted this form of learning and the student population in online classes is increasing
fast. There has been a lot of research on the impacts of online education as compared
to ordinary classroom education. If the goal is to draw a conclusion about online
education, considerable differences between the online learning environment and
classroom environment should be acknowledged. In the former, teachers and students
don’t meet physically as opposed to the latter, where they interact face to face.
As online learning continues to grow, it is important to investigate students’ overall
experiences in online learning environments. Understanding how students feel about
their online classes or programs goes beyond asking only whether students are
satisfied to asking more complex questions about how influences inside and outside the
classroom affect the online classroom. This qualitative study synthesis investigated how
students perceived online education. The flexibility of online learning allows students to
study at their own convenience. E-learning, on the other hand, gives students the
freedom to select the ideal atmosphere for learning, which helps them understand
more. Unfortunately, cheating through various means remains one of the primary
drawbacks of online learning. Online students are more likely to cheat on exams than
on-campus students because they take exams in their own homes and on personal
computers.

In accordance with Northenor, (2020), the negative impacts of online learning are
seen in the technicality of its actual use of it. These impacts include how technology is
not always efficient, it is harder for students to grasp concepts being taught, online
learning can cause social isolation, and can cause students to not develop needed
communication skills. Students have trouble grasping concepts that are taught through
online school because they have
more distractions that take their focus away from their education. Students become
distracted a lot easier when not in a school environment in front of other students and
teachers, which causes them to not be able to grasp concepts as well as if they were in-
person.
In consonance with Gopal Et. Al, (2021), online students are able to study at
home and this saves them to travel and accommodation costs. Online study has been
found to reduce the workload on tutors. Most of the online notes and books are
available to the students and this reduces the teacher`s workload. Students participating
in the online study have unlimited access to learning materials and this makes them the
ability to study effectively and efficiently. On the other hand, students in the classroom
environment have to take notes as the lecture progresses and these notes may not be
accurate as compared to the materials uploaded on the websites.
The shift to online education has implications for students, teachers, and
parents. One of the most important consequences of the transition to online learning
is its impact on students’ health and sleeping habits. Many are considering whether
this will lead to lasting changes for students who move out of the classroom. One of
the easiest effects of online education on children’s recovery is to improve learning
outcomes. Online learning provides students with access to a time and place for
education. With online courses that can take place at home or in a place of their
choice, there is less chance for students to miss classes.

As stated by Cellini, (2021), a third of postsecondary students attend at least

one online class and 30% of graduate students study online. Online education allows
schools to reach an extensive network of students without being constrained by
geographical boundaries. One benefit of online education is that it allows students to
participate in classes at places of their choice. Asynchronous online education gives
students control over their learning experience, allows flexibility in the curriculum for
non-traditional students and gives students greater responsibility. Students can
distance themselves from each other without being exposed to the coronavirus and
online learning has many health benefits for students and their families.
Traditional teaching and learning methods are becoming less effective at
engaging students, who no longer rely exclusively on the teacher as the only source
of knowledge. The integration of online teaching into the curriculum resulted in several
issues for instructors, curriculum designers, and administrators, starting from the
infrastructure to online teaching and assessment.
The Virtual Classroom is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Asynchronous communication through online conferencing programs allows the
professional juggling work, family, and study schedules to participate in class
discussions. Students can access their courses at any time of day or night.

In conclusion, we believe that learning never stopped in fact it evolved not just to
survive but to thrive and technology has proven to be the most important enabler of the
same which is an invention that is an outcome of learning. Technology has helped in
learning and has led to the advancement of technology. Students need both parents’
and teachers' guidance as they navigate through this difficult time to learn more and
more. As online learning continues to grow, it is important to investigate students’
overall experiences in online learning environments. Students typically self-select into
online or in-person programs or courses, confounding estimates of student outcomes.
Low vaccination rates and new coronavirus variants may mean a return to fully online
instruction for some U.S. students and many more around the world. The pandemic
forced millions of college students into virtual learning in 2020. In our opinion about the
impact of students in online classes, we all know that the pandemic that happened to us
is unpredictable and we did not expect it at all and that causes to shut down all the
schools all over the world though we came up with the idea of E-learning and for me,
we think it is much better to take online learning than take the risk of going to schools
and making contact with the people, there is a negative side of it the students can cheat
at any times and also have difficulty because of the internet issues.
