Description of Software:
Anchor is an easy, free podcasting tool. This tool lets you host as many episodes as you want, with
no true limits on how long they can be. This podcasting tool is especially great for those who are
just getting started with or are unfamiliar with podcasting. It is beginner-friendly and is a stress-
free process which is helpful especially for educators trying to change up their lessons involving
audio or even reading.
How do you plan to implement this lesson and integrate the technology? Check all that apply:
☒ Teacher-led: There is no student voice and choice in the activities. Students are guided by the
teacher's direction and expectations. Learning activities are assigned to the student and mostly
practice based.
☐ Student-Led: Students are given voice and choice in the activities. They may select the topic of
learning and/or determine the tool they will use to meet the learning goal. The teacher facilitates
the learning as the students direct their own learning processes.
☐ Problem-based and/or Publishable: Students are solving problems and completing projects to
demonstrate their learning. Additionally, the projects can be shared outside of the classroom.
(Note: This objective could be reached by displaying the project on the school’s morning

Lesson idea implementation:
In this lesson students will learn about the Life Cycle of a Frog through the Adobe Express Video I
created. This portion of the lesson is teacher led as any teacher can create a video through Adobe
Express over any topic of their choice. Adobe Express is a user-friendly platform that allows people
to have easy access to creative tools like voice recording, free templates, and more. After I led my
students through my presentation, I would teach them how to use the basics of Adobe Express. They
would then ‘Show me what they know’, by creating a similar presentation about the stages of a
frog’s life. As a teacher, this would help me have a better understanding if my students understood
our lesson as they would be creating their own definitions of the stages. In addition, I can teach my
students an easy and useful platform to use in the future for other subjects and more.
Managing student learning:
I plan to give my students an allowed time to finish this activity as I would not want them to spend
all their time finding pictures and diagrams. I want my students focused on those content /
definitions of each of the stage to show me they truly understand.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Reflection: Be sure to mention one specific UDL principle you
are focused on in this lesson – Multiple Means of Engagement, Multiple Means of Representation,
or Multiple Means of Action & Expression.
I think this lesson is very much focused on the Engagement part of UDL. It first offers a new and
exciting way to learn material and gets their attention with the video portion. Students are then
immersed into the platform as they then get to create their own video or slideshow. Adobe Express
give them the creative led allowing them to stay more engaged with the topic.
Reflection:
I am excited to teach this lesson because I look forward to showing my students a positive and
helpful platform on the internet. There are not many kid friendly things on the internet, but a
platform like Adobe Express makes me confident as a teacher that my students are gaining
knowledge and an educational experience.
