    EXPORT QUOTATION COST (DAR ES SALAAM)

    1. STUFFING

    • Empty container to transit to yard Tsh 150,000 (NOT FIXED ITS


    NEGOTIABLE)
    • Dray bags Tsh 130,000 per carton so as to reduce container Humidity
    • Paper lining Tsh 100,000

    2. KILIMO (MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE)

    • Treatment $120 per consignment (official through online)


    • Inspection per container $25
    • Phytosanitary certificate $15 per consignment (Through online)
    • NOTE: EXPORT PERMIT REQUEST FROM CBT (free)
    3. SHIPPING DOCUMENTS

    • Certificate of origin from chamber of commerce 55,000


    TSH(official)
    • Fumigation certificate $70 (per container if needed ) optional
    • Radiation certificate 0.5% of the invoice value (from 500MT and
    above of invoice value it become flat rates which cost 1000 USD)
    • NOTE: Radiation certificate should start first
    4. WHARFAGE

    • 1x40’ container @ $250


    • Handling fee @ $150 port charges NOT FIXED ITS DEPEND ON USD
    EXCHANGE RATE

    • VAT inclusive 18%

    5. DOCUMENTATION CHARGES

    • $150 per consignment


    6. FACILITATION COSTS:

    • KICD / TPA NASACO Customs - 20,000 ∕≈


    • State security - 20,000 ∕≈ per container
    • Maliasili - 20,000 ∕≈

    7. Agency fee 40 feet $250 per container

    NB: We ask if you have any transportation from Godown to stuffing area. (if no please
    let us know to make arrangement charges will be included)

    STUFFING YARDS

    1. TPA (NASACO YARD)

    • Stuffing Area charges $350 per 40ft container


    • Grace period 7 days start stuffing once containers are there
    The amount above includes the following

    o Stuffing charges
    o Loaded container transfer to port
    o Labour charges

    2. KICD
    • Stuffing Area charges $320 per 40ft
    • Grace period 7 days start stuffing once containers are there
    The amount above includes the following

    o Stuffing charges
    o Loaded container transfer to port
    o Labour charges
    3. MOFED
    • Stuffing Area $350 per 40ft
    • Grace period 14 days start stuffing once containers are there
    The amount above includes the following

    o Stuffing charges
    o Loaded container transfer to port
    o Labour charges

    NB: If a customer / exporter want to rent his own warehouse the following procedures
    which are.

    a. Permit of premises from Cashew Nuts Board of Tanzania (CBT)


    b. Permit from TIC (Tanzania Investment Center)
    c. Approval from the commissioner of Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA)

    And also we suggest to our client that it’s better to hire the warehouse which helps
    to reduce unnecessary costs during stuffing and re-baging and etc.
