 About This Pattern
-While making this amigurumi you will work in continuous rounds, unless told
otherwise. Use a stitch maker to mark end of your rounds.
-The finished amigurumi should measure approximately 8.5 inches tall in a sitting
position. Size may vary, depending on yarn type and personal yarn tension.
-Instructions that need to be repeated will be marked with brackets followed by the
number of times it needs to be repeated.

Arms

Stuff the arm. Only lightly stuff towards the opening. Fold the opening flat and then sc
across the opening to close the arm. Leave a long tail for sewing.
Ears
Finish with a slip stitch and leave a long tail for sewing. Stuff the ear.
Tail
Use Petal Pink.

Round 12) sc around (9) Stuff the end of the tail, then continue to the next round.
Round 16) 4 sc, dec (5)
Round 18) -Round 70) sc around (5) Finish with a slip stitch.
Take your stem wire and bend the end around so that the end is blunt. This will prevent
it from poking through the tail. Insert it into the tail and run it all the way up to the end of
the tail. You should still have a few inches of extra wire sticking out of the open end.
This will be inserted into the body during assembly.
Optional Master Ball
To make the Pokeball you will need Purple, Black, and White yarn.
Start with Purple.

Stuff the pokeball and then close off.
Master Ball Details

For the Master Ball's button, cut out a small circle of black felt and a slightly smaller
circle of white felt. Glue or needle felt the circles onto the front of the ball with the white
circle on top of the black. Cut two small circles of pink felt and apply them to the top of
the ball as seen in the photos. Cut a small letter “M” out of white felt and apply it to the
ball above the button.
Eyes and Foot Pads
Cut two soft triangle shaped eyes from the white felt and two small ovals from the white
felt. Cut two smaller triangle shapes from the blue felt. Trim them to fit the face.
Cut two small circles of pink felt and apply them to the mid front of the feet.
Tip: looking at reference photos of mew can really help with getting the shape and size
of the eyes correct.
