Question 1: MS Word (10 Points)


I. Define the difference between Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Resume in two to three lines only.
II. Design your own Resume, which must contain the following headings.

3. WORK EXPERIENCE
4. PRESENTATIONS/SPEECHES
5. VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
6. SKILLS & ABILITIES

Question 2: MS PowerPoint - Slides (10 Points)
Design a PowerPoint presentation with title “My Current Profile” which will contain the following
slides.
Slide 1: Title
Slide 2: Introduction about yourself (Your name, Father Name, Education, Experience, etc.)
Slide 3: My Achievements & Skills
Slide 4: About My Country and City
Slide 5: About My university & campus
Slide 6: About My Current Studies (1st Semester Courses and Instructor Names).
Slide 7: My Progress (Expected sectional’s & final’s exam marks in each subject (show with the
animated graph)
Slide 8: Thank you note.

NOTE:
a. The presentation must contain animations, pictures, decent background, visible and readable font,
and transitions.
b. Marks will depend on your presentation design, the more attractive the presentation is, more marks
can be expected.

Design the following designs in the PowerPoint with animations and also generate a .jpg file for each.

Question 4: MS Excel - Basic (10 Points)
Open attached Excel file: “Sample_Mark_Sheet.xlsx” and do the following sub tasks (ST).

ST1: Insert one row at the top


a. In cell A1, type: Student Grade Report
b. Merge and Center columns A1:I1
c. Bold the text
d. Apply a fill color (of your choice) to that cell
ST2: Use AutoSum to calculate the total points (in column F) for each student, as well as the totals
for each subject, and the Total Points column (in row 22).
ST3: Enter a formula (H3:H21) to calculate the student’s grade percentage (total points divided by
points possible) and format cells as a percentage
ST4: Determine whether the student passed or failed using the ‘IF’ function
a. Select cell ‘I3’
b. Logical test: H3>69%
c. Value if true: PASS
d. Value if false: FAIL
ST5: Use the AutoSum drop-down to calculate the Maximum, Minimum, and Average scores, for
each subject and the Total Points column. Be sure there are zero places to the right of the
decimal.
ST6: Apply “All Borders” to cells A1:I25.
ST7: Set page orientation to landscape.
ST8: Apply a “Bottom Double Border” to cells A21:F21 (above the Totals row)
ST9: Insert a header with your name (then return to Normal View).
ST10: Freeze row two by freezing panes in row three (be sure you are in Normal View).
ST11: Sort alphabetically by Name: Ascending to Descending (Be careful not to include the Totals,
Maximum, Minimum, and Average rows. Also, be sure all of the grades remain connected
to their corresponding students.)
ST12: Rename the worksheet to “Gradebook”
ST13: Create a column chart for Ali’s scores by subject (Not total or percentage)
a. Be sure to include the column and row headings
b. Change the chart color to match the cell color you chose in the top row
c. Move the chart to a new sheet
d. Rename the new worksheet: Ali
ST14: Go back to “Gradebook” sheet and create another column chart for all student’s percentage.
ST15: Generate .pdf from this sheet only with one page layout.

Question 5: MS Excel – Pivot Table (10 Points)

Figure 01 – ICC Mens T20 World Cup 2022 – Super 12 Group 1 Point Table

Figure 02 – ICC Mens T20 World Cup 2022 – Super 12 Group 2 Point Table

I. list the above figure 01 & 02 data in the excel tables separately by using “Data From Picture”
option in the Data tab.
II. Combine both the tables to make it a single 12 teams table with column names:
Super 12 Teams, Total Matches (TM), Won Matches (WM), Lost Matches (LM), Tied Matches
(TDM), No Result (NR), Points (PTS), Net Run Rate (NRR)
III. Now, create a pivot table for “II” based on the following analysis:

Analysis - 1: Find out the percentage of matches won and lost by each team in the tournament.
Draw a column graph for this analysis. Highlight the teams with the highest and lowest
percentage?

Analysis - 2: Find the team with the highest Net Run Rate (NRR) in the tournament. Draw a line
graph as shown below.
