Part 1: Bra Cups Use 3.0mm Crochet Hook


FOR SIZES: XS, S, M

APPROXIMATELY 400-450G

OF YARN

FOR SIZES: L-XL

APPROXIMATELY 450-550G

(IN THIS PROJECT, I USED

COMBED COTTON YARN IN

SIZE 2 SPORT WEIGHT)

*2.5MM & 3.0MM CROCHET

HOOK

*BEADS FOR THE STRINGS

STITCHES:

SC = SINGLE CROCHET

DC = DOUBLE CROCHET

FPDC = FRONT POST

DOUBLE CROCHET

BPDC = BACK POST

DOUBLE CROCHET

SLIP STITCH
1. 1st row: Chain 17. That will be the total number of your
foundation chain. (The foundation chain applies to sizes XS, S, M,
LEVEL: L, XL)
2. Yarn over, DC into the 4th chain.
*ADVANCED BEGINNER, 3. DC until you reach the end of the row.
INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED 4. 2nd row: Chain 3, flip your work.
5. Yarn over.
6. Insert your hook into the second stitch. (Start of Post Stitch)
7. FPDC into the 2nd stitch.
8. DC into the next stitch.
9. FPDC into the next stitch.
10-11. End of 2nd row: DC into the 3rd chain.
12. 3rd row: Chain 3, Flip your work and yarn over.
*In the 3rd row, you will be facing the back side of
your project so the next post stitch is BPDC.

19. From your previous "chain 1", flip your work


(you will be facing the front side of your project) SC
into every stitch of the row.
20. Once you reached the edge of the row, chain 1,
SC into the 1st stitch.
21. Make 2 SC into every DC. Once you reached the
end, chain 3.
22. 1st row: Flip your work (you will be facing the
back side of your project) DC into every stitch of
the row until you reach the top edge.
23-24. Once you reached the top edge, make 3 DC
into the same stitch and then 1 DC into every stitch
of the row until you reach the end.

13 -14. BPDC into the 2nd post stitch in front.


15. DC into the next stitch.
16. Continue the same process of alternating BPDC
and DC until you reach the end of the row.
17. End of 3rd row: DC into the 3rd chain.
*Make 4 more rows following the same process.
18. You should have a total of 7 rows and it should
look like this. You'll end facing the back side of your
project and then Chain 1.
29. This is how the cup looks like for XS - S.
30. This is how the cup looks like for M - L.
You will just add rows at the bottom part
to increase the size of the cup.
25. Once you reached the end of 1st row, chain 3.
26. 2nd row: Flip your work (you will be facing the
front side of your project), FPDC into the 2nd post
stitch and then DC into the next stitch. Continue part 2: cup Edging
the process of alternating FPDC and DC until you
reach the end of the row. Follow the illustration.
27. End of 2nd row: Once you reached the end, DC
into the last stitch. Do not DC into the 3rd chain
like what we did in the previous step.
28. Once you reached the end of 2nd row, chain 3.
Since in 2nd row we are facing the front side of
our project, the next row (3rd row) you will be
facing the back side of your project.
Continue the process of alternating FPDC /
BPDC into every post stitch of the row.
Chain 3 every time you will start a new row
and DC into the 3rd chain every time you will
end the row.
FPDC when you are facing the front side of your
project.
BPDC if you are facing the back side of your project.
Make 7 rows for XS - S
Make 9 rows for M - L
Make 11 rows for XL 31. Facing the back side and starting from your

7th, 9th and 11th row: You will end facing the back
side of your project.
39. From your previous stitch #38.A, make a total
number of chains corresponding to your size
measurement. (Chain 1, pull over and cut the yarn)
XS , S, M: chain 20
35. Continue with 1 SC in every stitch. L: chain 26
36. Once you reached the edge, Chain 1 and XL: chain 32
then SC into the 1st stitch. *If you want more back coverage, you can add more

chain to the total number of chains in your 1st cup.
38. Once you reached the SC part (middle), EX: 1st Cup 25 chains; 2nd cup: 26 chains.

40. Follow the illustration.
41. Pull the yarn.
42. 1 SC into every stitch.
43. Once you reached the middle part, follow the
middle post stitch and then SC. Continue making 1
SC into every stitch until you reach the end.
44. Follow the illustration.
*Do the same process in making your 2nd cup.

part 3: bottom part

50. From your previous stitch #49, chain 3, flip


your work and then DC until you reach the end
of the row.
51. Start of 2nd row: Chain 3, flip your work.
52. BPDC into the 2nd stitch and then DC into
the next stitch.
Continue the process of alternating BPDC
and DC until you reach the end of the row.

Counting will start at the middle of the 2 cups.
(You can increase the # of stitches from the middle to

XS, S, M: Start in the 17th stitch.
L - XL: Start in the 19th stitch.

part 8: back string

127. Back string:


XS, S, M: 3 yards and 6"
L - XL: 3 1/2 yards up
You can add more chains/ stitches if you want to increase the length of the
string.
The given length of the string is enough to wrap the string around the waist
if you want to tie/ ribbon the string in front.
128. Back string placement:
XS, S, M: Insert your string into the 22nd row/ hole.
L - XL: Insert your string into the 25 row/ hole.
Skip 2 holes and then insert the string into the 3rd hole. Repeat the process
until you reach the bottom end.
