The given maps illustrate changes in Youngsville in New Zealand over a span of 25 years
from 1980 to 2005.

Overall, the biggest change was the construction of the stadium. Additionally, lots of houses
were replaced by skyscrapers.

In 1980, the area in the north of the River Alanah had a large amount of trees. However, in
2005, a row of houses near the bank and trees disappeared and made way for a new
stadium and lengthened the railway. There seemed to be more services at the lake, still, the
hospital remained over the time.

In the south area of the River Alanah, school and airport still existed despite the
disappearance of a large number of trees and houses. They were replaced by warehouse,
factories and a row of skyscrapers next to the railway. Furthermore, 2005 also saw the
construction of the Marina at the river mouth.

The given maps illustrate changes of the village of Stokeford in two years 1930 and 2010.

Overall, the construction of a row of houses was most significant. Additionally, the reduction
of farmland accounted for lots of differences.

In the north area of the village, shops and houses were knocked down to make way for a
new line of houses in 2010. In the northeast area of the main road, the primary school was
expanded and houses were built more, thanks to narrowing the farmland.

In the southeast area of the main road, gardens were shortened and the large houses were
transferred into the retirement home. In the southwest area, farmland completely
disappeared in 2010 and was replaced by houses.
