DEDICATION

I want to dedicate this portfolio first to myself, and the road to

becoming a great teacher starts with observing. The past sem could be
smoother as I climb to success. The rough road occurs when I get it to finish
this Field study 1. Also, it would be an honor to dedicate this portfolio to my
beloved parents, my late father, and my mother. The two people who helped
me get where I am today. I would only be able to return their favors at the very
end of my life.
Additionally, I dedicate this to Marcelo H. Del Pilar National High
School for accepting me as a Field Study Student. I want to save also this for
my CT, Sir Abel DC. Dionisio , who guided me as a student. Last but not
least, I want to express my gratitude to my outstanding university and the
Faculty of Education for their work on behalf of their students.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

As I ended my Field Study 1 journey, I would like to acknowledge the

guidance of our Savior, who guided and strengthened me throughout the
uncertainty. The journey wasn’t favorable to my situation; I faced trials and
overcame them all. All thanks to Him.
I want to acknowledge myself. As I step as a student, I know the
process wouldn’t be simple. I did a job well, and being able to thrive was
something to celebrate.
I also want to thank the following people, our Dean, Dr. Alberto J.
Valenzuela. Our field study teacher, Ms. Joimy M. Advincula. Our class
adviser, Ma’am Erica Joan L. Arroyo, for always guiding us at BSU Meneses.
I also thank you for my Deployment School, Marcelo H. Del Pilar
National High School, for being my home for how many months. Also, my
very supportive CT, Sir, Abel DC. Dionisio. thank you for guiding me and
inspiring me.

STUDENT’S PRAYER

Dear Lord and Father of all, thank you for ways in which you provide
for us all. For Your protection and love we thank You. Help us to focus our
hearts and minds now on what we are about to learn. Inspire us by Your Holy
Spirit as we listen and write. Guide us by Your eternal light as we discover
more about the world around us. We ask all these in the name of Jesus. Amen.

TEACHER’S PRAYER
Our Heavenly Father,
We praise your name; we lift your name on high. We thank you for
your sovereignty and faithfulness to us throughout, for bringing us up in this
stage of our lives, and for your overflowing and unconditional love for us. I
thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to serve you and your people and be part
of this school and the community.
Thank you for my cooperating teacher's life and our student's lives.
Thank you for bringing us to school safely and satisfying our bodies, not just
with physical and spiritual food. I pray for my humility as I learn from all
these people who mentor me. Help me speak words that would encourage
them, make them think critically, and help them explore new things that will
always align with your plans, Lord. Inspiring words that will not just end for a
day but will remain for them until the end.
Lord, I also pray for the Holy Spirit to come to those who don't know
you to enlighten their minds and hearts to bring their path towards your path.
May your words will build their faith in you. I also pray for those who already
know you to maintain their faith in you, Lord, serving you and your people.
Showing what a God-centered person is. In any circumstances, Lord, let me
protect our students from harm. Allow me to support them in every struggle.
Yet Lord, it is always your power as the most substantial protection. Whatever
your plans, Lord, let it be.
In the name of your son, Jesus Christ, we pray our Lord, AMEN.
PERSONAL BELIEF ON EDUCATION

Education is a process of learning something. The purpose of being a

teacher is to impose learning on their learners. For me, education is a
relationship. It’s a give-and-take process wherein teachers and learners learn at
the same time.
Education is everywhere. Anything that surrounds you can educate you
is education. Education doesn’t end in the four-corner classroom. Learning
comes around online, from the people surrounding you or to things you
believe.

DESCRIPTION OF DEPLOYMENT SCHOOL
MARCELO H. DEL PILAR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

HISTORY OF MHPNHS
Early in 1902, Bulacan High School was briefly based in the forward-
thinking town of Baliuag, where it had its beginnings. Here, a group of
children, predominantly males, from only a few villages in the province were
put in a room of a private home under the supervision of two American
teachers, along with a class of twenty who had made some progress in Spanish
schools. To entice students who had taken some Spanish "Colegios" training
and were hesitant to attend an elementary school by its real name. These
young males barely make up 87 of the group. It had accomplished a lot in its
brief existence since it had sent numerous young instructors to the province.
There were 275 students enrolled in the school in 1903, and there were
now seven teachers. A literary society was one of the school's extracurricular
pursuits.
There were six teachers and two hundred twenty-seven students in
1904. Two literary organizations were established, and for the following three
years, they played a significant role in developing the school and sparking
students' interest in English. The students' work matched our current fourth,
fifth, and sixth grades, and they were divided into sections A, B, C, D, E, and
F. A new P32,000.00 high school in Malolos, Bulacan, received its plans and
specifications this year, and funding for the construction was appropriated
from the provincial coffers.
Two hundred sixty-six students were enrolled in 1905. To offer the
entire intermediate course and the first year of the secondary system, the
school was reorganized.
The official start of high school is now. This year saw the completion
of the first choral project and the introduction of athletics and physical
education aligned with the Bureau of Education's strategy. This year saw the
construction of a tennis court, the formation of a baseball team, and the first
sewing lesson, with the girls providing their supplies.

DAILY SUMMARY EXPERIENCES/DOCUMENTATION
September 19, 2022 (Day 1)
This is my first day at Marcelo H. Del Pilar National High School to do field
studies because I chose, so I can start seeing myself as a future teacher at first.
I was nervous because, of course, you are not a student like you are now. You
would go to your school before, where many people knew you knew, but now
it's different. You used to be a student of Marcelo H. Del Pilar National High
School. Now you're a full-fledged student teacher. This is the first day I met
Sir. Abel Dionisio, who was my CT in grade 9, will be with me until I finish
my 60 hours of observation at Marcelo H. Del Pilar National High School.

DAILY SUMMARY EXPERIENCES/DOCUMENTATION

September 28, 2022 (Day 2)

This is my second day at Marcelo H. Del Pilar National High School. I

arrived there with a mixture of trepidation and trembling. Of course, it's the
first time. First of all, I didn't show the nervousness I was feeling on my CT to
avoid pressure and not to show the nervousness I was feeling on my 2nd day
here in my field study and in my observatory.

October 7, 2022 (Day 3)

It's my third day at Marcelo H. Del Pilar National High School.
I'm so thankful because somehow I got to know Mr. Abel's students. I'm
happy because I can talk to them. Sir Abel's students played with each other's
noise and joy and when I left I immediately breathed in the fresh air that came
from Marcelo H. Del Pilar National High School.

October 10, 2022 (Day 4)

This is my fourth day based on what I observed here in section 9-7. These are
students who are simple and kind, but it's so hot in their room they don't have
an electric fan and the heat is still focused on them all of the day, but it's okay
because they were happy while Sir Abel was in class and teaching. The first
time they didn't meet and I was able to get along right away. They weren't that
close, but they were very kind and respectful to the teacher and me.

October 24, 2022 DAY (5)

This is my fifth day of observation. This is the day with a mixture of
nervousness and fear and trembling because this is my first day to
stand in front of my students and this is where I feel how. be a true
teacher being It's a good feeling that I will stand in front of these
children that I am carrying myself in front of them, happy and nervous
but very solid no matter how close you become to all of them in the
class.

November 7, 2022 DAY (6)

It turns out that this is my sixth day of observing here. I observed the advisory
class of Sir Abel Dionisio. This is the first observation of them here. I saw
their behavior and attitude. What I saw in them is that their attitude is that they
are noisy in class and we are the type of students who are noisy but respectful.

November 11, 2022 DAY (7)

Here is the seventh one. If you observe. Here we went out of the classroom to
prepare for what to do outside the room and here we did physical fitness. Here
we did a long jump and then exercised the body. There are also many lessons
that I saw here. Based on this, I did kuna ren when I was in high school.
November 11, 2022 DAY (8)
Here's the eighth one, if you observe Marcelo here, we exercise here, it's super
fun and there's a mixture of tiredness, but they're not used to doing the right
things because they're really focused on class and they're not comfortable here.
They also have weaknesses, but it's super. they come when Sir discusses. Abel
there they are good and can answer immediately.
November 14, 2022 DAY (9)
This is the ninth time I attended to observe Sir Abel's class. This is the part
where they are very close and very kind. They call me Sir. It makes my heart
grow fonder and the feeling is good even though I am not totally complete yet.
Who is a professional teacher? I am called Sir so much. I love you 9 Belardo.
November 16, 2022 DAY (10)
It turns out that this is the other remedy, that when I attended my observation
at Marcelo's, it was here that the students of Sir and I did perform, we use flute
here, we compose songs and so on.
November 21, 2022 DAY (11)
This is the eleventh that I attended in the field study here, we had the first
music using the flute. here and I learned a lot, based on this, we went through
our performance.
November 28, 2022 DAY (12)
Here is the twelfth person who attended my observation of Sir Abel's class.
Here we just had a discussion about art where great artists were shown.
December 5, 2022 DAY (13)

I have been here for 13 days since my fss and I am almost at the end of our
time. I really appreciate Sir's teaching. Abel, this is the time when Sir
discussed music and we were about to finish our topic.
December 12, 2022 DAY (14)

FSS 14 is the last day. It's a shame. If I learn how to act as a teacher, I hope I
can do what my CT is doing. I want to apply all that to myself. I will miss
those I observed. Take care, everyone, especially you, Sir. , Abel.
