Use it to track your progress

This is the approach I use for all the certifications I take and it works very well for most of my students too!

1. Watch the certification videos you have. I suggest 1-3 different sources, watch all the videos, 1 time.
2. Read the book you chose. I suggest 1-2 different books, 1 time.
3. Re-watch the videos, 1 time.
4. Re-read the books, 1 time.
5. Do practice questions. For the PMP do a lot of them … A LOT.
1. It is normal for students to do between 1,500 – 3,000 practice questions.
2. After each practice tests, read all the explanations on the questions you got wrong and then re-study
those areas (videos/books)
6. Do another practice test.
7. Repeat step 6-7 until you hit 80%+ on multiple practice engines.

Do not reuse practice tests, it will not give you an accurate result if you have
answered the questions before.
