    BIBLE ENTHRONEMENT 2022

    INTRODUCTION: My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today we are gathered together to
    honor the precious gift of our God – His Word in the Book of Life – the Holy Bible. As we open
    this School Year 2021-2022, let us start it with a heart that is open for the Word of God. As
    Christians, it is just but fitting for us to love the Holy Bible, for it does contain God’s message of
    love for us. The message that has changed others’ lives and has effected so much change in the
    world!

    LEADER: In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. AMEN!

    LEADER: Let us now ask the Life-Giving Word to lead us unto His path as we sing our Opening
    Song,
    LORD JESUS WE ENTHRONE YOU

    ENTRANCE OF THE SYMBOLS:

     Candle Bearers:
    Jesus is the true light that enlightens everyone! He who follows the light will never walk
    in darkness! Let your light, then, shine before men, that they may see your good works
    and glorify your heavenly Father!

     Incense Bearers:
    Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God! For those who are led by the Spirit of God
    are children of God, in which we cry, Abba Father!

     Flower Bearers:
    Behold the aura of the mighty power of God! Living sign of the majesty and beauty of
    His wisdom! Let wisdom penetrate your soul by reason of her purity and beauty.

     Frame (Mo. Dionisia and Mo. Cecilia) Bearer:


    Driven by inner strength and union of desires in the service of the Lord with all humility,
    love and perseverance, Mo. Dionisia & Mo. Cecilia Rosa will sustain us, enlighten and
    help us appreciate the life truly lived for God.
     St. Augustine Bearer:
    St. Augustine repeatedly reminds us of the marvels of God’s infinite wisdom and love.
    For him, this is an incomparable and undeserved privilege / honor that entails a
    tremendous responsibility. To fully measure up to it, we must always cling to the
    conviction of our call/mission and answer it faithfully and generously. The faith in our
    vocation will be the source of our self-confidence and our strength, the continuous
    inspiration and motivation in the fulfillment of our obligations.

     St. Joseph
    Through St. Joseph the protector of Holy Mother Church, God the Father entrusted our
    Savior to his care. May your Church through this young people you called continue to
    serve with deeper understanding and commitment through Jesus Christ, True God and
    True Man.

     Mama Mary
    To Jesus through Mary, intimacy with Jesus means living a life in humility and purity.
    We must be like Mary in all our ways. She truly is, the Tabernacle of all virtues.

     Crucifix Bearer:
    Behold Jesus, our Lord and Savior, the good shepherd who offered his life for us! He
    entered into human history; that we may have life, life in all its fullness. Let us welcome
    Him into our hearts!

     Bible Bearer:
    The Bible is the WORD OF GOD; keep the GOOD NEWS forever whole and alive
    within you! So READ THE BIBLE……..PRAY THE BIBLE……..LIVE THE BIBLE
    and proclaim the GOOD NEWS to all nations.

    ALL: Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.

    BIBLE BEARER : Let us give thanks to God the Father, to Jesus Christ, our Lord, and to the
    Holy Spirit for this moment of grace. In this sacred moment, He has come to us today. In this
    sacred moment He has touched us and turned our hearts to one another. He pours His Spirit
    among us, strengthening the bond of devotion in the Holy Scripture. With one Mind, One Heart,
    One Vision, One Mission intent upon God, let us journey together in the Spirit of love. Amen!
    SONG : LORD JESUS, WE ENTHRONE YOU ( THE BIBLE WILL BE ENTHRONED )
    PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL ( THE SYMBOL BEARER COMES FORWARD ONCE
    HIS/HER SYMBOL IS CALLED )

    LEADER : As we offer these symbols, let us all together raise our prayers to God.
    FLOWER!
    O Most loving God, with these flowers that reflect Your eternal beauty, brighten our lives
    with the same beauty of grace. Let the faith brought about by our Baptism continue to
    grow in Your love. Let us pray to the Lord.

    ALL : Life-giving Word be our GRACE.

    LEADER : CANDLE !
    Christ our Light, let Your light shine on us as we journey towards the fullness of life
    which You promised. Be a lamp unto our feet and the light unto our path as we walk
    amidst the darkness of sin and indifference. Let us pray to the Lord.

    ALL : Life-giving Word be our LIGHT.

    LEADER : INCENSE !
    Come Lord Jesus and make us holy! With this sweet incense, bring our souls to the
    Father. Bless us as we go on with our battle against the power of the devil. Let us pray
    to the Lord.

    ALL : Life-giving Word be our SHIELD.

    LEADER : CRUCIFIX!
    O Most Beloved Lord, by Your sacrificial love, You taught us how to find meaning in
    every adversity that passes our ways. Let this love be often an inspiration to our journey
    through life.

    ALL : Life-giving Word be our INSPIRATION.

    LEADER: Our Loving Father, who in this moment of grace is speaking to us powerfully and
    lovingly through the Psalms, Letters, Gospels and in the sacred events embodied in the Old and
    New Testaments, inspire us to follow Your path as we continue to allow Your Words to seep into
    the deep recesses of our being.

    ALL: AMEN!
    PRAYER OVER THE BIBLE
    LEADER: God our Father, You made Yourself known to Your Holy People. Grant we
    beseech You that our ears may be open to receive Your Word, and grant that our Hearts may be
    set on fire always. Bless these Bibles and dwell with us and in us forever.

    ALL : AMEN!

    CLOSING PRAYER:

    ALL : Almighty and Eternal God, we thank You for giving us Your own Words to stay in our
    midst. May Your Word be our guide to mold us in becoming children of Yours, worthy of
    Your love and Your promise of eternal life. May Your Word live in our hearts wherever we are
    so that others may see You in us. AMEN!
