B. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
B. DISTRIBUTION OF FEEDS.
Animal feeds play an important part in the food chain and the composition and
quality of the livestock products (milk, meat, and eggs) that people consume. It

The Municipality of Sabangan through the different livelihood programs aim to help
improve the quality of life of its constituents by providing them with access to livelihood
opportunities. It also aims to generate employment among different households towards
economic stability.
D. OBJECTIVES
3. To enable the household beneficiaries to produce their own food and have
the opportunity to raise additional income for their family.
E. IMPLEMENTATION MECHANISMS
The beneficiaries shall be consolidated from the list of profiled proponents from the
Farmer’s Congress. The proponent should request thirty (30) chickens to raise in
order to qualify as a beneficiary. Since this livelihood aims , one will be able to make
this as an income-generating activity when the number of requested chickens is fo
In general, the LGU assessed the affected livelihoods based on the following
criteria:
1. The existence of the business through issued business permits by the LGU, if not
registered business, through assessment by the Focal Person. First
consideration was the business with small capital and the capacity of these
business to source out resources during the quarantine;
2. The existence of the livelihood prior to the imposition of community quarantine
and the scope of these livelihood;
3. The capacity of the identified business and livelihood to operate and implement
livelihood assistance after the receipt of the amount; and
4. The impact of the ECQ to the existing business/ livelihood where all of the
identified recipients need fund to replenish their capital or to venture into an
alternative source of income.

The project will be jointly monitored by the Office of the Municipal Mayor and
OMAG to ensure that the project will be operational and will be sustained by the
recipients, and to recommend possible improvements of the project.
F. INSTITUTIONAL ARRANGEMENTS
The roles and responsibilities of the following offices from the planning to the
monitoring of livelihood projects are as follows:
a. Assist the MLGU thru the Focal Person for possible identification of
potential beneficiaries;
b. Refer / endorse potential beneficiaries of financing programs to the MLGU;
c. Invite entrepreneurs and workers to capacity building interventions of
DSWD and other agencies;
d. Provide a venue for capacity building activities to beneficiaries;
e. Suggest small and micro business that may be provided with the
appropriate interventions; and
f. Suggest other individuals that may be provided with the appropriate
interventions.
