INTRODUCTION

Good morning dear brothers and sisters of Christ! Today we

are celebrating the 75th Founding Anniversary of St. James High
School of Buenavista, Agusan, Inc., With the Theme “Celebrating
Milestone: Providing Excellence through the Years, Moving
Forward in Synodality.” Indeed, this signifies one of the most
memorable days of our lives as a Jamenian family. It marks our
hard works and success. Thus, we also share the mission of his
Son, Jesus Christ: TO MAKE GOD’S KINGDOM A REALITY
IN WHATEVER COMMUNITY WE MAY BE. May we live and
work to realize this mission wherever we will be in the future. And
now, as we celebrate, let us join our hearts and minds together as a
community of faith, hope, and love to celebrate the Holy Eucharist
in thanksgiving for the blessings in our life, especially the love,
care, and sacrifices of our parents, guardians, teachers, and school
administrators. May all their efforts throughout the years bear
abundant fruit. And with joyful heart, let us all rise and sing the
entrance hymn.
PRESIDER: Let us pray to the Father of all graces He bestowed
upon us in that we may truly become fruitful and loving agent of
truth, wisdom and love. In every petition we say:
LORD HEAR US

1. For the Church, especially our Pope, Bishops, and Priests: that they
may faithfully serve the people of God leading the way of Christian
life more faithful to the Gospel. Let us pray to the Lord.
2. For our government leaders: that they may work for justice and peace
and for the good of our community with greater preferential option for
the poor. Let us pray to the Lord.
3. For our parents, classmates and friends, and all who have been part of
our journey: that they may continually and unconditionally support us
in our further endeavor. Let us pray to the Lord.
4. For the Board of Trustees, School administration, faculty and staff:
that they may generously give themselves in educating the young and
to touch the lives of young people. Let us pray to the Lord.
5. For all the benefactors, and to all people who are helping the school,
that God will reveal His wonderful plans for all of us, and we may
develop fully the learning we received and help build Christian
communities by loving and serving members of our families and our
communities. Let us pray to the Lord.
6. For the sick, that they may feel the healing hand of our Lord Jesus
Christ. Let us pray to the Lord.
7. For our departed brothers and sisters especially the members of our
family who has gone before us; that they may find eternal rest in
heaven. Let us pray to the Lord.
PRESIDER: Lord God, hear our petitions and let the light of
Christ shine in us through our words and actions. Grant to your
children the courage and strength as they emerge themselves to the
wider field of the pasture. We make this prayer through Jesus Christ,
our Lord. Amen.
