insert the merged fields Title, First_Name, Surname, Address and City

Q1.Create a spreadsheet of a Mark sheet using following fields:


1. Rollno,Name,Exams all subjects in each column, computer practical
2. Total,Percentage,Result(Pass/Fail),Grade
3. Apply formatting to the worksheet
4. apply condition to Grades as follows:
i) "A" Grade if Percentage>=70
ii) "B" Grade if Percentage >=60 & <70
iii) "C” Grade if Percentage >=50 & <60
iv) "D” Grade if Percentage <50
5. Enter 10 records (all theory subject marks entered out of 100 &practical out of 50)
1. Calculate TOTAL marks using Sum function.
2. Calculate PERCENTAGE using AVERAGE function.
3. In Result column display "PASS" if all subject >=35 otherwise
"FAIL".
4. Display all <35 marks in Red color.

1) Fields: - EMPNO, EMP NAME, BASIC SALARY, DA, HRA, TA, PF, PT
& NET SALARY.
2) (DA=3%Basic Salary, HRA=5% Basic Salary, TA=2% Basic Salary,
PF=2%of Basic Salary & PT=2% if Basic Salary >10000)All the calculation
should performed by FORMULA.
3) Apply appropriate format to the worksheet. Enter 10records.
4) Give the main Heading to the spreadsheet like "BRAINSOFT INFOSYS Pvt
Ltd.,"
Q3. Applying Data Consolidation in MS-Excel.
1. Create a new file in spreadsheet software and enter data for 10 salesmen.
2. Add two worksheets in the file and modify the data for all 3 quarters.
3. Rename all worksheets like sheet1 - 2018, sheet2 - 2019 and sheet3 - 2020.
4. Now add one more worksheet at the end and rename as consolidated sheet.
5. Now type the serial no and names as displayed, use sum function to add
data for 2018, 2019 and 2020 in respective cells using consolidation.

Q4. A student is planning her goals about the marks she should attain in the
forthcoming examinations in order to achieve a distinction (75%). Assuming that
the examination of each subject is for 100 marks, her marks of PT 1 and Term 1
are given as under.

Find out how many marks should she obtain in term 2 to secure distinction.
Q5. The School election was conducted for the post of Head boy. There were 5
candidates who received the votes as follows.
 Find the total votes that were cast.
 Create a Pie & bar chart to show their vote share.
