8x8 Teams with CDW to Optimize Telecommunications for Leading Healthcare


Services Provider MHM: Aug 25, 2015
8x8, Inc. (NASDAQ:EGHT), a leading provider of cloud-based unified communications and contact center
solutions, today announced the company has partnered withCDW Corporation(NASDAQ:CDW), a leading
multi-brand technology solutions provider to business, government, education and healthcare, to
deliver a new cloud-based telecommunications solution for MHM Services, Inc., a company that delivers
mental and medical health services to correctional facilities across the US. The MHM deployment of 8x8
will be phased over a period months, with the completed company-wide deployment expected by Q3
2015.

MHM currently employs more than 3,000 clinical, management and support staff nationwide and
manages its government contracts through a network of 20 regional offices. Before implementing 8x8
cloud communications, MHM had 22 premises-based hardware phone systems. Over time, maintaining
the hardware became arduous and expensive, which resulted in a significant burden on the company’s
IT organization. Additionally, perpetual licenses continued to incur costs, even when phone service was
no longer needed, and offices with long-term contracts ended up with antiquated hardware that needed
to be replaced. Overall, MHM has reduced spending on phone lines, long distance, telecom hardware
and maintenance contracts by 30 percent. Christie Nader, Sr. Director, Information Technology, at MHM
Services, contacted CDW for help in evaluating the leading cloud-based communications systems that
could accommodate MHM’s company-wide, evolving business communications requirements.

DXI Extends Footprint in Contact Centre Market with Recent Acquisition By Market
Leader 8x8: June 16, 2015
DXI, a leader and innovator in cloud contact centre solutions, is embarking on its next phase of growth
after being acquired by 8x8, Inc. (NASDAQ:EGHT). 8x8 completed the acquisition of DXI on May 29, 2015
bringing 81 DXI employees to the company who will remain based in London. DXI is one of the first
solutions companies to offer pay-as-you-go cloud services in the marketplace, and together with 8x8,
will now deliver innovative solutions to agile contact centres and key lines of business in the mid-market
and enterprise.

DXI’s popular flagship product, EasyContactNow™, is a scalable cloud contact management solution that
is easy to deploy and use, and supports companies with a small number of users or up to thousands as
needed. The solution enables departments of all sizes to provide a dynamic, responsive environment to
ensure the delivery of customer service excellence. In addition to traditional contact centre
deployments, EasyContactNow can also be deployed by any key line of business across an organization,
such as internal service desks, customer support centres, HR, credit control and facilities management.

8x8, Inc. (EGHT) Enters Agreement to Acquire Certain Quality Software Assets: June
4, 2015
8x8, Inc. (NASDAQ: EGHT) announced the company has agreed to purchase certain assets of
privately-held Quality Software Corporation (QSC), an innovative developer of cloud-native quality
management capabilities and analytics, and two affiliated companies—including QSC’s proprietary
software and all associated intellectual property for $3 million in cash and $1.3 million in stock
compensation. The stock portion will be paid out over four years assuming certain conditions are
met. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close this month.

QSC is one of the newest, most innovative players in the call center performance and analytics
marketplace based in Delray Beach, Florida with a development center in Romania. QSC offers a
modern, web-based solution for the cloud, with a powerful set of monitoring capabilities for high-
touch interactions and a personalized customer experience—including call recording, screen
capture, live monitoring, agent evaluations, speech transcription, reporting and detailed analytics.
8x8 plans to unveil a new cloud-quality management product for its Virtual Contact Center solution
by the end of 2015. As part of the transaction with QSC, 8x8 intends to hire QSC’s Chief Executive
Officer, Ryan Morrissey, as well as the company’s development team in Romania. Morrissey will
serve as 8x8’s new Senior Director of Product Strategy, Cloud Quality Management Solutions, and
be based at the company’s headquarters in San Jose, California.

8x8, Inc. (EGHT) to Acquire DXI Ltd. in GBP 16.5M Deal: May 27, 2015
8x8, Inc. (NASDAQ: EGHT) announced the company has signed a definitive agreement to acquire
privately-held DXI Ltd., a UK-based leader and innovator in cloud-based outbound and blended
contact center solutions, for £16.5 million in cash and stock with a portion of the purchase price
being paid out over four years. The transaction is expected to close before the end of the month. 8x8
plans to bring DXI services and solutions to the U.S. market by the end of 2015.
