NARRATIVE
I was dispatched to the listed location for a Officer in trouble. As I arrived on scene S-1 was placed under arrest. S-1 was slurring his words
and there was an odor of alcohol when speaking to S-1. I spoke with officers on scene, V-2 was the first officer to arrive at the location. V-

2 was dispatched to the location for a Suspicious person (ReferenceSAPD23017188). V-2 was flagged down by neighbors stating that
there was an intoxicated individual at the location above. As V-2 arrived, S-1 was standing outside the residence listed, when V-2 arrived, S-
1 walked to the sidewalk and confronted V-2. S-1 was outside of the residence listed above in a public place.
V-2 introduced himself and asked S-1 for his information, V-2 could smell the odor of alcoholic beverages when S-1 was speaking. S-1
reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet. When S-1 pulled his wallet out of his pocket, a 25 caliber magazine had fallen out. V-2
instructed S-1 to put his hands on the vehicle to conduct a pat down for weapons. V-2 asked S-1 if he had any weapons on him, S-1 stated
that he two knives. V-2 attempted to detain S-1 and S-1 became irate, turned around and started resisting the detention. Both V-2 and S-
1 went to the ground, S-1 then told V-2 "I ll kill you" and started screaming for officers to kill him. V-2 waited for other officers to assist in
placing S-1 under arrest.
I spoke with O-1 and O-2 who are S-1 s sisters. They are all from Michigan and had come to San Antonio for vacation. O-1 and O-2 observed
S-1 drinking alcoholic beverages last night (1/22/2023). O-1 and O-2 stated that when they woke up they noticed S-1 was drinking
alcoholic beverages around 0700 AM. O-1 and O-2 were given a case number.
S-1 was searched incident to arrest, during the search, S-1 was intentionally banging his head on the hood of the car and pushing against
officers trying to search him. S-1 was carrying a large amount of money on his person and allowed officers to give it to his sister, O-1. S-1
was transported to 401 S. Frio in the Wagon. S-1 s property was taken to the property room.
S-1 was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place, resisting arrest, and for retaliation for making the threats against an officer who
is trying to effect an arrest.
While searching S-1 my bodycam was accidentally muted, I corrected the setting moments later. BWC and Coban available.
